Hi, anyone with parallel imported vara went to Boon Siew service before? How much does they charge you for servicing like tuning etc. Me here comparing the price lah.. Maybe will even order with their the four pieces of fairings. Then the present one will use for hardcore usage.. heehee

Just an update on the 'camel ride' I had with my bike.

After top-up sg petrol for 1 week, still problem persist on and off.

Took another look at the last service report, spark-plugs weren't changed.

Went down to Boon Siew changed spark-plugs and tuning, now power!!!!.

 

The last spark-plug changed were Denso. Any problem with this brand??

I went to serviced at Boon Siew and me bike is a B.S bike. I went there to change engine oil , oil filter and spark plugs there and they tuned my bike for free but their tuning also not so good ah. ahah.

 

If u wanna get ur bike tuned go to Racing Incorp at Paya Ubi Industrial Estate. Change engine oil ans spark and oil filter for $45 and he will tune it for ya.

 

As for fairing get a quote from BS honda but it will cost u. Why dont u touch up your fairing with a new coat of paint. When u get it newly painted tell the bike shop u want certain areas repaired it MAY cost u less.

The spark plugs that gave me problems were denso also can remember was is the model number. Btw where did u get the denso spark plugs at?

Most of the time the mech will do visual/testing ur bike to determine roughly where's the prob, this comes at no cost, once problem located, he'll quote u then u decide. At least u know whats wrong with it. If need to open bike, maybe need to give him labour lor... $10+??

2. Tables that can be joined together..so ppl wont feel left out during conversation.

3. Easy access to & from major expressway..so easy to come and easy go.

4. Basically as for the food..emmmm...something presentable lah..

5. Don't choose a shop which close too early. e.g 9pm-10pm...

6. Last but not least...PARKING SPACE...

 

Pls do consider these factor..well at least it meets d min. requirement...then we proceed...

Dey nazrin, that place in clementi lah.. that time u , ur gf and simon were at (and i met u guys while i joggedby) u know just befre we went to KTM.... its at clementi ave 3... it used to be called 'al-azhar' then change owner and now 'hazwani'

 

based on 'dakar check list' requirement for meet up place..

 

1. Ample sitting space that can accomodate d number of riders coming down. - have

3. Easy access to & from major expressway..so easy to come and easy go. - easy access to AYE (less then 3 min), PIE (less then 4 min)

4. Basically as for the food..emmmm...something presentable lah.. - western, nasi ayam, those firend food and etc.... and of course prata and teh tarik!

5. Don't choose a shop which close too early. e.g 9pm-10pm... - 24 Hours!

6. Last but not least...PARKING SPACE... - LOTS of parking space at least 25 always empty lots
