Al-Simmons I was thinking of doing it all over again. There's nothing wrong with my hazard lites but just want to learn how to go about doing it.

The venue? Ehehehehh, i suggested the multi-storey carpark coz there's one just beside my house. The top two decks are always empty so got lots of space.

Finally collected my Black Panther today. It's really black and glossy now.

Anyhow, I am happy with it, but the damage was S$850.00 nett

wow looks kewl man. its a good idea esp for the plastic areas as they are prone to scratches. like the front fender and front panel.

Whats UP DaWgZ!!

to be honest...this bike is easy to maintain...like what LTC mentioned...

you juz have to regularly change your engine oil, oil filter, spark plug...every 5000km...as time goes by...you got to decrease your mileage per servicing...for example...after 3 years...every 4000km...got to do servicing....subsequently...you do the maths....

Air filter change every 18000km or 2 years...whichever comes first...

But the most important thing of all...you got to understand the characteristics of the bike...which is no power...trust me...no matter what you do...you can never increase the power by a big margin....try not to use racing spark plug...juz an advice...use stock spark plug...is good enuff...

Other than that...Happy Riding!....If you are interested you can join us for meet ups and touring...

If there is anything you can juz pm me!...

by the way...yours is a first hand bike or 2nd hand?....

During your run in stage 0-1,000 ensure that u run ya bike through all the gears and a variety of rpms frequently. That means running on the expressways is a no no cos u will be prolonging ya rpm at only one gear usually the fifth. Take the normal roads with the traffic lights and and avoid running above 6000rpms for the the first 1000km. Also use MINERAL engine oil and change it frequently and replace ya oil filter also. Top up 1.3 litres NOT MORE NOT LESS ensure that u can see the same gap at the glass window at ya engine.

Be kiasu change ya engine oil now if u haven't. For the first 1000km there are bound to be metal particles floating around in ya engine. How ya run in ya engine will effect ya performace of ya bike in the long run.

After ur run in period use fully syn oil the lastest craze are those that contains easters e.g motul, fuchs and maxima

Tyres. Do check ya air pressure regurly especially since ya bike tyres are new to ensure that your tyres are worn out evently. Check ya manual m not sure bout Scropions but i think its should be 200 front 220 rear. Do this every week and when the tyres are cold i.e find a nearby petrol station to do this. If the nearest petrol station is quite a distance ya need to kewl off ya tyres before ya pump in new air or ya could let some air out and then pump in fresh air so that the right pressure can be attained.

Its always a good practice is warm up ya engine before ya move off look at the thermo ;wait till it gets to 2- 3 bars. Be Patient

Chain. Oil em every 300km. Or every week which ever comes first.

Also take care of the black plastics on ya front panel near the speedo and the front fender it is prone to scratches. Esp after u send it to the work shop when the mech works on the front area eg when changing front lights. Protect the plastic areas with armourall but i personally use TOP99 Leather and Tyre Care.

Oh yeah did i mention Change your engine oil frequently.
