Please add on if i miss out anything or you think is not sufficient.

Any updates on the quotation for the parts from FJT?

Rectifier - 1 pc (quotation?)

last check a few months back was quoted @ $65 (FJT) for non stock ones ( probably from Thailand). If OEM from Davidsilverspares @ £55 excludes shipping.

It's very difficult to find tyres for our size in case anything happen....

Remember what happen in Cherating with Aikon's bike...the tube might be useful and any local bike shop can at least help to fix it in case got some hole in the tyres....

IMO… normal puncture to the tires by sharp debris can be fix with the standard repair kit, but not for tear or cracking on the side wall. the tube will come handy in such cases. btw, dont forget to include some spare valves for our tubeless. am still using them valve for car tires, courtesy of the local bike shop mech.

For worst case scenario....cos someone told me about his experience that he brought every single spare part except a spare rectifier.....

If we can make do without the spare rectifier is ok....

...just a suggestion, sort of a cheaper alternative. worth look into or even consider this in the “project manager list”.

Here’s why and how

the most common problems that kill the rectifier/regulator is overheat, specially in high temperature countries. to prevent it from overheating just place a 12V P4 PC CPU cooling fan or its equivalent type on top of the regulator located on the left panel next to the battery. connect the 12V power from the rear lights connections so that it will work when the ignition switch is on. cooling fan cost ranging frm $3 to $6, plentiful @ SLS or SLT.its not fail safe though.hopefully, the rectifier/regulator can last throughout the whole trip with this adds on. my 2 cents.
