Hello fellow Vara125 riders,

Got a POP quiz for you, to test your bike troubleshooting skills.

Senario 1:

One day u start ur vara125, And its unableto start, So u twist the trottle while hitting the electric start button, then it able to starts, but u constantly need to rev the trottle to keep it running or else in idle the engine will cut off.

So it seem u need more trottle to bring the RPMs up, so you get on the bike and kick it to first gear. The Moment u release the clutch, its struggles to move off (almost as if the engines gonna cut off again) It has NO power! You need to wack the throttle all the way to the end to move it. And ur just in gear one, With full throttle, its moves ridiculeusly so slowly.

U sense that the bike has No power. So...What could be the cause of the problem?

Answer: (make a guess)

Hint : the answer is actually very simple..

Hey! [Muhd Haeikal], man im facinated by your post on going to KL, i wanted to do that, but never really 'dared' as

- its damm far,

- scared bike kena stolen

- scared lost my way,

- bla bla bla.... wimpy attitude ...

wondering how long (hours) does it take.. form GP to KL?

Ur riding at 110-115km/h i guess?

any stops along the awy, (cos i know after i hr the temperature's gonna be kind of high)

also when u hit KL, what is there to do?

as i dont go to PUBs, or have any friends/relatives, so what can we do there? go to the shooping centres?, then we really need ot know the way around there.. need a map i guess ...

But the whole i dea sounds good,

I would to organize, a trip to KL, *when i dont know maybe a weekend, go on sat Morning--to sun evening.... someday

where we ride to KL, then check out the place, shop, nite sleep in a hotel, t hen day, ride back to Sg?

any comments on the plan?

any one interested? of course weekends for some of u guys are not good as u guys work, and again, why would u wanna wait for an organised trip when u can anytime go your selfs...

but its just an idea,

Do comment..

hi hahahahoho

my vara i bought 1st hand from Mah Pte Ltd, cost me $10900 including tax, coe, insurance, everything. Dat means per month i have to pay $218 for 4 years. If u intend to keep the bike for a long time, then getting a first hand bike would be good. Otherwise, getting a 2nd hand ones would be a good idea. For me i only intend to upgrade once i get my class 2, dream of getting ST1300 :lovestruck:

Aniway there are other bike shops around offering vara125 at a cheaper price

Wow ... tats quite a sum of $$ ... hey anyway how much is varadero84 selling his vara?? i intend to get a vara but feel its kinda ex..got any intro to 2nd hand vara? ...maybe get a stopid phantom or someting...

http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/hahahahoho/1.jpg?t=1174109746http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/hahahahoho/2.jpg?t=1174109719http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/hahahahoho/cat.jpg?t=1174109684http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k23/hahahahoho/bike3.jpg

i know how u feel lah, u htin once get license want a new bike, dont want 2nd hand as u feel new bike is better bla bla bla.. less problem and look cooler..

i was like that too, but my time... cant at all find any one selling 2nd hand vara125, heck my time, 2 yrs back, cant find a single vara125 rider in sbf!

;)

anyways.. what i feel is 10.9k. is alot of money..

and what u get is a 'naked' vara ..

2nd hand ones are better as they come with more accessories and u can bargin the price, see lah the person selling...

anyways vara84, im pretty sure he's lettitng go in the range of 6-7k

his bike has

-tall winshield

-tank bra

-crash guard (that well alll WANT!!! but dont have)

-box

-some fancy volt meter

- some etc...

*for under cowl.. i think have also*

if you calc... accessories.. can cost up to 1k++++

so anyways.. if your serious .. consider 2nd hand lah..

but if you really want a new one.. take note that new vara125

are actually cool.

the rims are metal SILVER!! cool!

exhaust structure is abit different

some small nice changes

tank color is darker and nicer...

typres are also nicer

*hehe*

both also good deal

u.. frankly.. dont dream so much ok *heeh*

do bloody get ur 2B lah..

get license den talk.... ;)

yeah... sumtimes i also wonder why the hell i buy the bike. but trust me hahahahoho, if u dream of getting a particular bike, die2 must get dat bike. i last time also like dat. i dunno how many hundred times i considered whether to get the vara or not coz of the expensive price. my 2nd choice was a phantom. but in the in i chose vara coz it has always been my dream bike. now dat i got it, really felt good boy...

when is ur tp test aniwae? eh, ur nick very long sia...
