Date: Saturday ,14 th January 2006

Destination : Tg. Piai , Off Kukup

Start Time : 0830hrs GP Esso

End Time : 1800hrs

Duration: Day trip.

Distance : below 150km

Purpose: To cover the 2nd part of the four ends of Peninsular Malaysia.

Participants: ideally 2 to 4 riders. (if none & its not raining, solo again then.no problem. )

...then next day,Sunday 15th me working.

as a rider,never assume that other people on the road "are smart enough",

because,as we've all learned,other people are usually NOT smart enough to check/slow down/give way...so make and effort not to hangaround blindspots of other vehicles,stay clear of the lorries & buses,and being late's much better than being dead!

I agree bro. Doesnt mean that when it rains, u cannot ride. Just that you have to be extra careful only.... and be prepared to do some extra laundry

Saw an OGK flip-up helmet . Love it, Bought a pair. Show you guys the pictur if I manage to find out how to upload it. Haha(Didnt know OGK had flip-ups)

Got myself an alpinestars skyline touring jacket rather cheap for its brand. Shop gave big discount as I bought the OGK helmets (One thing to take note was its such a high-end jacket worn by a pathetic me (P-plater) Haha , hope dun get laughed at)

Any brothers out there knows which shop to go to get a new pair of Varadero stickers (Original)

Got my vara running well, cause of whole thing is due to the battery isnt secured properly after servicing. Hahaha

klutch > Bro, tks. No more already. I returned the worn zeus to owner cos my wife say the OGK was nicer. The brand new one keeping for pillion next time.

al-simmons and iswady---> bro got problems with david silver spares,

they asked for photocopy off my credit card and after i email it, it was firewalled

i.e they remove the attached file cos my emaill addy is under Khirwan Bin Suadi.

so when i use another email addy they received the file but they don't want to process cause my card bears the name Khirwan Bin Suadi... Argggghhhhh

So i make a Trunk Call To them and they say "Sorry, this is due to high terrorism threat in South East Asia bla bla bla"

So i reply " So Khirwan Bin Suadi + Vara 125 + credit Card = Terrorist?"

And now i waiting for email reply on whether would they process the order or not.

Don't worry bout P-plater or not. Safety is the main concern. New pair of Varadero stickers (Original) need to order i guess. But if u want a very similar one, Daniyal just made one at Eugene's Saddlebags at Jalan Besar.

Anyway we'll be meeting up this Saturday. Will confirm the time again. Hope to see you there...

thanx for your replies regarding my situation and all..

anyways.. i've decided to keep the bike and even got me a new windscreen and box.. got a givi box cuz i felt the hepco ones a little out of my league financially as most of my moolah goes to my guitar stuff..

i'd like to wish all the muslims here a selamat hari raya!!!

just wanna ask somemore stuff..

since i got my bike there's this horrible sound from the real wheel.. kinda like a erm.. how to make sound here? anyways.. this sound comes on and off depending on the speed but mainly i hear it in a quiet place at low spees.. it's bad to the point that i can feel the vibrations on my rear when the sound comes.. when i step on the brake the sound is not there and after i let go it comes back after a while.. seems to be worse when the roads are wet or it is raining and when riding first thing in the morning..

i brought the bike back to mah twice before 1000km service.. first time they said it was the brake then adjusted it.. i went off.. sound still there.. went back at 1000km service.. told them to look again and left the bike there for 2 days.. the mechanic said he took out the wheel and greased the bearings and that he road in a quiet place and didn't hear anything.. the bike now at more than 2000km and the sound started again these few days when it rained.. even when i went to get the box the guy who installed it pushed the bike out and told me for sound.. said that i better bring it back before the warranty runs out.. mah says that the bike still running in so sure got sound and that by 3000km it'll be ok.. i dunno man..

anyone ever heard of this or got any advice?

toobez>>> Yo bro...it could be your brake caliper not werking properly or worst case scenario....your rim maybe misaligned...which no matter how straight they put back in....your rear wheel could be slanted...could be due to drop...well this is my opinion lah...
