About the KL thing, yeah it be cool to go, but anyone knows how *secure* is KL, as in bike parking??

I think I can solve this problem as it happens to me, it's neither your plug or what, it should be the air flow intake..... as there are two nuts that will really affect our bike... for me Sanfu did a great job. Now the bike is very smooth...

hey vara bros, anybody organising an outing go for supper or something this sat i'll be free after 12 as usual... anybody interested. last week i went with a vara rider me fren n another rider on a super four spec2. we started from sentosa then went to changi village then went to east coast to have a view of the sea... then to lau pa sat where we had satay went home around 4am..

 

anywaybody interested maybe u guys can start off earlier then i'll contact u guys to meet up.

 

we need to meet up to discuss bout the crash bar and the horns.

anyways.. to answer it new one range is 9.5- 10.9k

2nd hand 6-7k

 

funny thing about ppl who want to get 2nd hand is (usually they do not have the $$$ and want to settle with you the installement... *of course the seller sure die lah* )

what you should do is approach those bike shop that has credit plans that u can use to play for the bike..

 

also those who are selling your vara125 take note..

dont any how go and transfer ur bike ownership or what ever until u get the full payment..

 

was reading on this forum, how some ppl almost get screwed or already screwed when they sell,

cos buyer sincere but no $$, then transfer ownership he still didint pay *say he has no money at the moment*

 

No money, dont buy lah..

 

when i read the story i really pity-ed the sellers lah..

 

ive been through all this selll thing and the buyer dont pay fiasco..

when down to to 2 shops today to check the pricing for the crash bar n the mainstand.

 

the mainstand at m-tecknik is 230 w/o discount maybe if u guys interested can go down n negoitation

 

the other shop is bike-tech21 which brings in the crash bar.. they told me the re-order period is bout 3 months but when told that we wanna order 6 pieces he told me to confirm again with him in a week time so that he may bring it faster. the price is not yet confirmed as i need to confirm the number of pple that wants to buy it.. he says the price range is less then $250

stumble once again to this site and realise that there is a community for Varadero125 riders.

Glad to see this bike gaining popularity.

I got this bike way back in 2001, when it first landed on this shore, bought from KTL @ $9200. It is now my weekend ride, drive on weekdays.

 

I have added on the top box and the undercowl as accessories.

 

Hope to have the opportunity to meet up with you guys (after July papers)

 

I remember seeing Dakar (orange) in Taman Jurong carpark and also one with the fender & many stickers.

hey there ive tried to change my working schdeule to accomadate for the others the timing has been shifted eariler at 2230hrs

 

the plan is to just gather the vara riders together n chit-chat n have supper together i also will be bringing along a digital camera to take some photos of us together so far i've contacted the following vara bros with positive outcome.

 

plan is to meet up at east coast near the food centre (carpark) then ride to changi village as a group. then take some photos near changi beach then head back home or top up petrol at jb.

 

so far the confirm lists are

6ofitall may come if his leg recovers well cos he met with a freaky accident at home n now his leg is in stiches.

Sorry fellas..I won't be able to make tonight's meeting. I just got back from an overseas trip and must have picked up a 1 inch screw in my rear tyre on my way back from the airport. With this said, i don't think it is advisable for me to do much moving around till i have my tyres changed.

 

Anyone with any recommendations of other tyres...other than the stock Bridgestone Trailwings, preferably road type tyres......
