erm... just curious about vara bikes.... did those 125cc vara followed the biggers one to touring? cos its 125cc.. issn't it a bit difficult? and what's the top speed for the 125cc vara? someone pls enlighten me.. :) thanks!

Kino -->> There's nothing difficult bout it bro. For me its the distance travelled that matters rather than the speed....

Talking bout sand, gravel and mud... my tires are Metzelers and even though i trust Metzeler make good tires, i dun dare make high speed turns around bends and corners nowadays. The treads are still good but at times i do skid a little when travelling on roads... be it wet, sandy or the normal tarmac and expressways.

Any oneelse got the same prob?

when do u skid? when braking?

if when braking then could be ur braking technique...

when cornering?

could be due to the suspensions.....

that's what i think....considering the road conditions and ur tyres are in good riding condition...

so far i've no problem cornering with the tyres i'm using rite now....in fact one of the best tyres i've tried for cornering...

but yesterday go a bit off road....i was hoping that mine was scorpion...

see those 2 buggers in front of me going through the soft mud and gravel like nothing...

Beb >> care to share whats the retail price of them products.

deflating your tyre on soft mud---- good.... tried and tested..... if your tyre pressure is high the tyre will sink in as there is less surface contact between the tyre and the mud...... imagine this high heels on the mud or gortex boots on the mud will give you more traction?

Hey all..

Im in Minnesota right now and its freezing cold.

Sent msgs to some of you to tell you where I was and if there was anything I could do for you while I'm here. This here ain't much of a motorcycling town as its snowing like 90% of the time but I'll see if I can find you guys anything.

I found a Oakley concept shop in the mall and they have some really cool stuff. I found a Oakley kevlar riding glove that's breatheable and you can use it for rainy days? Don't think its waterproof though but it's really cool.

I will try to find the list of things that you'd ask me to get but no guarantees that I can find it. This place is pretty bike-less.

In the meantime, you guys stay cool and try not to forget me while I'm here eh?

Aikon>>Considering that I had been using most of the chain lubes/waxes in the market plus a rabbit oiler installed on my bike I starting to believed that Maxima chain wax are superior.Never stains my rims unlike certain chain wax product which leave your rims blue or white. And for the maxima engine oil had to wait for another month only then I would know the perfomances..Just need to compared whether Rockoil(Been using for the last few oil change) or maxima is better.

happy125 >>… my guess, could be water seepage somewhere inside the circuit after bike wash. worst, if its by water jets.

then again, any hint on the rpm against speed. does it almost ‘tally’ while traveling. if it doesn’t, got to re look again on them spark plugs. new doesn’t guarantee the best of quality. next, don’t forget the battery or cables connections too. lubricates the clutch or throttle cables. could be too dry after the wash. no harm trying.

Bro,

Took out my spark plugs, they are black man.

Cleaned them and now bike 'garang' again.

Think need to tune the air-fuel mixture.

My exhaust can smell-fuel.

Remember the 'camel' ride, last year?

Boon Siew adjusted the air-fuel mixture, probably tuned to more fuel intake, when the problem was the spark plug.

Thanks for the feedbacks brothers.

Anyway, how much motortiam charge for tuning?

Cheers
