I reckon you let him try it out first before taking the plunge. At the moment it is too early to call it.

I'm too sceptical about this, especially for some whose speedos work intermittently ie. the digital clock/mileage part.

Dude..In your case, your meter needs to be replaced. If the electronics don't register then it is as good as dead.

Visual/Stargate>> You guys should be using 15-50 rated engine oil. It is stated in the manual and also the fact that the bike has high rpms.

Wassap Guys!!!!

Recce team back with reports!!!!

Hehe!!!

Frazer Hill Recce

It was a great saturday with the sun and no rain!!! :cheer: Great weather! Our first stop was Ayer Keroh. Had breakfast there. We have 2 choices. Either we have our meal at the Restoran Jembatan(Bridge), or just the normal cafe. We also topped up our fuel at that location.

After a quick meal, which i onli had a drink, we proceeded on to move on, all the way till our next stop...Rawang. Reached the KL highway and traffic starts to get a little heavy due to the afternoon lunchtime. Followed the Ipoh direction on the highway and finally we exited at Rawang where we topped up our fuel for the 2nd time(Petronas). The town area at Rawang was quite busy with heavy traffic and lots of lorry running here and there. Some constructions are going on there, so we have to becareful. We lost alot of timing due to the heavy traffic. After a while, we cleared the traffic and we had the whole road to ourself!!!!

It was a long and winding road. Really pushing the bikes to its limits. I had trouble trying to control the 'Hairpin' corners at first...but after a few turns and cornerings, managed to get a hang of it!! Great place with great view of a dam! Would have to take note of the landslides though. Reached the gate(The Gap) where they controlled the traffic. 8km more to go. Really2 steep road with really tight 'hairpin' corners! We have to really becareful with the edges of the road, cause its a long way down!!! Hehe!

Finally reached Frazer Hill. Temp up there was arnd 27deg and very windy. There are alot of restraurants and different kind of foods to choose from. Stgayed for awhile and went to have a look at the 'Singapore House'. Nice....!!!!

Overall, it was a great ride, with a great view of the surroundings. Frazer Hill is great!!! Oh ya, one tip....eat before going up the Gap!!!! You wouldn't want to get dizzy in the middle of it and have that feeling wanting to vomit!!! Haha!! I know i did......

Till then....

Cheers!!!!!!

The roads are ok ah. Cos it was not raining. No landside lately so the road is clear. No visible sand.

The corners need to take it slowly and after u get the hang of it...then can start to play. A lot of blind corners that are quite dangerous especially if there is incoming traffic. You want to warm up can try Kent Ridge. You got 15-20KM of Kent Ridge twisties there.

The slope not as steep as Genting. We were at gear 3 and 4. Going down back from the top is the best part.

Overall nice place. Can't wait for the return trip on 29h April.

Will post some pics soon.

Bro,

Sorry if I overlook this.

What improvement can we expect from this slip-on, beside visually?

Cheers

Sigh, was actually hoping for a full system to be released but in the end, it is just a slip on.

Actually, placing a slip-on onto our Vara 125 hardly has any improvement to the performance. Our 4 stroker cc is way too small to yield any more horse power. So even if the slip on is fixed, and maybe (perhaps, not guaranteed) it open up the flow a teeny bit more, there is a major "bottleneck" in our Vara 125. Where? Take a look at the upward bend (the kink) of the exhaust pipe.......the slope up is quite steep and the flow is already very restricted and "blocked" there

So adding a slipon is just for looking "cangeh" but does not help in performance. For those looking for the vroom vroom sound, again...the sound is not there because of the small cc is insufficient to blow out enough presure through the legalise "silencer" to give you the low bass. The bunyi (sound) is like the stock pipe.

:weep:
