I see no professionalism in dem doin their job.....BTW where to complain tiz uh? any idea? epecially the strip n touching private part..!!

Firstly, you have the right to ask them what they suspect you of having that is illegal.

Not to sure bout how ICA works but I could try and dig out some files about doing strip search.

Section 38 of Immigration Act (Chapter 133)

Authority of immigration officer to arrest and prosecute

38. —(1) Every immigration officer appointed under this Act shall have the authority and powers of a police officer to enforce any of the provisions of this Act relating to arrest, detention (in this case you were being detained) or removal.

(2) Every immigration officer shall have the authority to appear in court and conduct any prosecution in respect of any offence under this Act or the regulations.

(3) In any case relating to the commission of an offence under this Act or the regulations, an immigration officer shall have all the powers of a police officer under the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) in relation to an investigation into a seizable offence. (you should have ask what offence were you suspected so that you will know your rights)

Under CPC (Chapter 68)

Search of place entered by person sought to be arrested.

25. —(1) If any person acting under a warrant of arrest or any police officer having authority to arrest has reason to believe that any person to be arrested has entered into or is within any place, the person residing in or in charge of the place shall, on demand of the person so acting or the police officer, allow him free ingress to the place and afford all reasonable facilities for search in it. (comes back to what they suspect you of committing which offence)

Power of search and arrest

51. —(1) Any immigration officer or any other officer generally or specially authorised in writing in that behalf by the Controller, and any officer of the Singapore Customs acting under the instructions of such immigration officer, and any police officer may without a warrant and with or without assistance —

(a) enter and search any premises; and

(b) stop and search any vehicle, train, vessel or person, or search any aircraft, whether in a public place or not,

if he has reason to believe that any evidence of the commission of an offence under this Act or the regulations is likely to be found on the premises or person or in the vehicle, vessel, aircraft or train, and may seize any evidence so found.

(2) No woman shall be searched under this section except by a woman.

(3) Any police officer, immigration officer or customs officer may arrest without warrant any person who he reasonably believes has committed an offence under this Act or the regulations.

(4) Where any person is arrested by an immigration officer or customs officer under subsection (3), the immigration officer or customs officer shall comply with sections 35 and 36 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68) as if he were a police officer.

How person arrested is to be dealt with.

35. A police officer making an arrest without warrant shall, without unnecessary delay and subject to the provisions herein as to bail or previous release, take or send the person arrested before a Magistrate’s Court.

Person arrested not to be detained more than 48 hours.

36. —(1) No police officer shall detain in custody a person arrested without a warrant for a longer period than under all the circumstances of the case is reasonable.

(2) Such period shall not exceed 48 hours exclusive of the time necessary for the journey from the place of arrest to the Magistrate’s Court.

This is what i've found out only. Maybe the seasoned POs should could advise more.

Anyway it bounce back to one thing. You got to know the law to know your rights. If the officers are doing things out of the book, you can bring this up to the authorities.

Bro, some questions and things to check out 1st

a) Find out which department they are from

b) When they touch 'there' are you wearing anything else? brief perhaps

c) While they are conducting the strip search, is there a supervisor with them?

My opinion:

Definitely they have some kinda info, before conducting such search. No department would conduct a search like that without so. If they have the info, definitely, they must have gone through their heads before permission was granted. As for whether they have the rights to do that. As Al-Simmons had indicated, they do have the powers to do so. But maybe they have contravene their SOP. They should inform you of the offence that you are suspected of having committed. As for the touching part, most important is how you feel (Cos you are the victim) and the offence that you are suspected of committing. In this case, I would think tat it is a rather serious offence.

Those who have collected your mainstand...do you installed it yourself?

I had a hard time trying to install it. The spring needs like 57324327 Newton of force until you can slot in the catch. After installing the mainstand i don't even have the strength to put my bike up to the mainstand.

Next session can share the techniques in putting the bike to mainstand. Need to learn fast before taking my class 2.....

touring jacket is $120 for mo of 20 items and above. mesh jacket is $100.

touring jacket is cordura material. claimed waterproof. comes with armour (not sure about back but should have elbow and shoulder) but armour is not ce approved.

size and colour can be customed (colour depends on if they have the material) but this round of experience shows that custom sizing takes a much longer time. i would say 1mth after me making payment to them.

anyway procedure is i tele $$$ to them, 2-3 working days later after they confirm recieve money from me they will process the order. process as in start fabricating. takes maybe 1-2wks then ship out. last experience took

a sad truth. case of few rotten apples. its one of them many road ‘hazards’ going up north. just before any trip, pray hard that one don’t meet any of this low life ( assuming they’re abusing power) and play along with their game.

that’s a good one. mind helping out with a few more getting ‘off-the-hook’ scripts for no toll, trunk road cases.

ENCIK , can help prepare the script too? seen you ‘sweet talked’ four of them at GP before.

..and that 57324327 Newton of force is for the outer spring alone. should be at least 1.5 times with both spring in place. do note this. extra care with the main stand when letting it off the ground. IMO, frequent forward static shock not good for the forks. suggest to use it wisely. either for bike servicing or when the ground to park isn’t safe.

yes. a long screw driver and lots of brute force to get the springs hooked.

got that speedo cable set yet? might be looking for one next week.
