how much did chan quote u for the main stand at M-tecknic... should be $230 right. me trying to do a mass order for the mainstand... n the crash bar... still havent organise one yet cos of the lack of funds on my part ehehe sowy!

anyways.. you migth already know this but.. just incase..

heres the stroy, few days ago, some 'monkeys' itchy hand go and loosen my clutch cable (at the handle bar screw, they unscrew it till its lose this i cant achieve half-clutch, have to throw the lever all the way back before the gears engage..

 

me being the person who knows crap about bike and all t his.. of course.. didint know what to do..

 

but guessed it had somehting to do with the cable..

stoped the bike.. after a while figured out how to 'tightened' it..

 

so ur case is it.. the clutch want to open very hard to squeeze?

coudl adjustment of the clutch bolts.. makes it better...

i dare not get a quotation from bs honda cos its kinda pricey.. anyway i got the chiong one for 18 which is supposed to be used for the yamaha virago ... i cannot adjust anymore as everything is already max. so wat i had to do is to remove the nut at cluth handle end. so now it least got a few more mm.

 

anyway i was a bit itchy backside n got a pair of iridium spark plugs n ngk cable which cost me quite a bit!

 

now i need to get my bike re-tuned! anywhere?

Hello, mind if I barged in and make an attempt to sell of two of my items for vara125???

 

 

I have a pair of side brackets for Givi side panniers for sale ( SEE ATTACHED )

I bought for $200, letting go at $150, as it's been sitting at my house for near half a year since I got a wing-rack.

 

Also I have a Zeus full face flip up helmet "L" size letting go at $50, colour silver/black, as for smell, i don't think so as i been putting it in a ventilated place.

 

Anyone intrested can either SMS me or give me a ring @ 91453745, just use my nick in here will do. as i seldom logged on here.

Bro, Have u tried asking at Bike Tech 21??? Think they r selling for $150/- as for installation, u can do it at "Mah Motorparts" which is 20 meters walk from Bike Tech, just need to pay him $10++ as the installation is relatively easy and fast.

 

M-technik , went before, but seems like it's a bit pricy though it is a different brand.

 

PS: By the way, I noticed in these group, seems like they are alot of POs here riding vara eh? (just guessing)

As i am not sure my vara can fit it like some of u all does, as mine go something a little different, tats why need to see it personally and then see whether can fit or need to monified it to fit.

eh unknown have u managed to get ur crash bars from biketech.. how much did they charge u cos they quoted me a higer price something from the range of 200-250 but have not confirmed yet... eerrr the bottom of ur bike is fitted with fog lights issit that why got problem with the undercowl

Ya, I got mine from them, he told me the same thing, but in the end it's $200 he charged me, and since they don't do installtion, i suggest that u can go to the Mah motor part to get the malaysian young chap to fix it at a small fee.

 

And ya, seems like my lights are in the way, tats why need to see the under crowl, whether any monification needed.

I already bought mine but Neo seems too very very busy to do it for me...guess I shall not bother him again then, cos it really seems like i am taking up his time...I actually asked Sanfu, wanna charge me $30 bucks for the stupid installation...and plus a 2 way switch I wanna install another $15...ended up I am gonna pay more...I heard installation only about $10 rite? Guess I will just do it at motoworld.... how long they took to do the installation?

 

Visual, so u bought the horn yet? Wanna go motoworld together to get it installed? But I may be going down this afternoon or tomorrow though... you free?

there a shop i know which does my phantom bike MAYBE he could give it cheaper... but have to wait till next week $10 should be ok right for installation will ask him after national day issit ok with u cos me also wanna get the horns.

Came to know about M-Technik thru this forum, I only start browsing for the past few weeks. This forum woke the "dragon" in me. I have proviously installed the undercowl when first received the bike 3 years back. Tot of replacing horns, add panniers and etc. But for noe, the centre stand first. The rest will have to wait.

 

Anyway, will be glad to meet you tomorrow.

i bought it for 40 a piece. NGK racing cables those red coloured ones. Installed denso iridium sparks. throttle response definetly improved but need to retuned my carb again.

 

I guess the best way to get me bike up to speed is for me to looses weight so next month start dieting hope to loose at least 5kgs

 

bout ur windshild ... do u wanna get those taller ones... if m not wrong Mr HEIKAL has one that he wants to sell n he bought it quite recently only.

Try ASPhoon along Changi Road.... When I sold my bike to someone, he got a reloan from there..initially was agreed at 10% but after much pestering by the buyer of my bike, who kept calling and calling and bargaining...thats what he told me at least...he finally got it for 8% on the day we came down for the final agreement.... thats the best i heard for a reloan bike...

by the time you see this on SAT am, I'm on my way to EBS to install boosters, then KTL to collect insurance & road tax.

 

I confirmed go M-Technik to install. Just hope I dont get lost in the city jungle.......

 

Btw, the horns that you all have been discussing, Stabel Magnum, how does it look like, where to get, how much?? Please advise. Want to install a pair that can "shock" the drivers. Stock ones cannot do the job.

Oh, was it the sms thing about my crash bar, and i told u i had none? But anyway sorri for making a big circle, as after the ads, i got several calls but not ready buyer so fed up loh.

 

Err, actually tat one not the real bmw lights, something like it got the "angle eyes", but looks pretty nice though, but i think made in taiwan or what.
