wow thats 3 wicked bikes u own. The cbr600rr exhaust at the backside..? By any change do u also own a bikeshop. :D

No, maybe one day, but I don't think running a bike-shop business is all that fun nor easy.

Maybe I bring in some Enfields 350cc (1950's Classic UK styled bikes made in India), but would anyone buy them here.

My CBR is a CBR600F4i, the 2002 model with the big exhaust on the side and not under the saddle.

I would advise against boring out your engine to get more cc. It will cost alot of $$ and it is not going to make your bike go any faster, and maybe a small difference when you pull away at the lights. Just take your time get the class 2 then can buy the big version.

The bigger version is cool of course... but it guzzles heck of a lot of petrol,

Maintanence is higher then its 125 counterpart, and road tax is about 8x more.. ;)

But of course everyone wants the bigger cc, i want it too...

I stil intend to kep my varadero if i do decide to get a bigger cc bike. Its a really great bike! Its mantainince is cheap its insurance is cheap its road tax is cheap! I wonder how long it will last under my hands been trashing the bike like crazy.

but seriously the more i look at the crash guard, the more i wonder if i actually really need it..

but with sg road condt. and with the lunatic drivers, might be a good idea...

[[dakar] [simon] u guys will be free?

u guys inthe mood to run the 'stripping the exhaust from the vara125' workshop?

Not only crazy motorist but accidental drop or self skidding. It would cost more in the long run if the fairing cracks. I would actually prefer the tp type of crash bar that would protect my knees too but i dunno whether it would look nice on our bike

Eh wat vara workshop are u talking about. Sunday morning would be ok if u guys are free from 10am... cos i start work at 1pm.

hi guys,

anyone noe where to buy oil filter original besides Boon Siew, or is it better to do it (service + oil filter replacment + fine tuning) at BS??

never tried them before, btw, my bike is from KTL not BS, so will they do it at higher price ??

Please advise.

Thank you.

Daystar

How bout DIY? M inteding to get the oil filter maybe 2 sets from mah motorsports. My fren azli has been using an XR4 oil filter which according to him "LOOKS" same; he already used it for his past 2 servicing.

Though the part number differs

oil filter xl125v 15412HM5A10

oil filter xr4 15410KF0315

it is compatible.

there is also another 2 shops that sells origianal hond parts FJT and Eversuccess.

Its near MUSTAFHA centre. Personally havent been there to buy the oil filter.

Also, SANFU doesnt carry the oil filter.

U might wanna take down the part number just incase they give u another type of filter passing as the xl125v oil filter.

Right on the spot dude. A silleuto of varadero with vara under it

I am looking at this direction , not too big as its for the wind shield and the rear mudguard, the piece under the number plate

Guess who i met along Lavendar rd this evening...Unknown. He has a beautiful Vara kitted to the max. He even has fog lights secured to the bottom of his fairing!!! His bike has now inspired me to do heaps with my bike. The only thing that he might need (he has EVERYthing you can think of, even the Splitfire cables, except for boosters too) would be an undercowl. I reckon we should do an MO for that too. he says Biketech21 would be able to bring it in for us.

Hi guys would i would like ur opinion on the crash bar. I would prefebly get the crash bar settled by this week with m-tecknik the cost is a bit higer 210 but more importantly it comes with a 30% downpayment and they will fix for u guys.

I've got the green lights from the follwing members:

1.indy

2.azli

3azman

i would like the opinion of farid, niti and x-trail

another important point to take note is that i havent seen the crash bar before cos their shop is sometimes open cos their running a 2 man outfit. But these are the guys that came out with the AT-Asia website.. Mr Chan. so i guess its quite reliable if we dont get the goods then we can probably burn one of his GS :bouncefire: eheh only joking.

so wat so u me follow vara brudders!

Hehe, as for why I blacko my no plate, scare later a HDB officer sees it, summon me with the date.....then i will be :giddy:

Btw i have attached one more pics about the fog lights.

Actually was inspired by the Honda Goldwing, :lovestruck: and tot it would be nice, so went on improvising it, but in sg, doesn't serve much purpose here, everywhere got street lamps, so it acts as a white elephant, for nice only.....

But once in malaysia(I go abt once a week) , it's quite a useful thing as in from a far distance, I can see potholes, and do the necessary.

So it's pretty useful for me lor:sweat:
