Location: Carmen Café, Kallang (behind Macdonalds).

 

 

Date & Time: Every Saturday night, 7.30pm onwards.

 

 

Usual Turn Out: About 30 to 40 bikes.

 

 

Bikes: All makes, big bikes mostly, but more small bikes are hanging out here too. Very friendly bunch and very much into touring in Malaysia & Thailand. Talks about bikes and rides, swop experiences and always planning for the next ride. The Stormers are the second registered motorcycle club in Singapore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Easy-Riders

 

 

Location: Gillman Village, Alexandra Road, Ricky's Seafood Restaurant.

 

 

Date & Time: Every Friday night, 9pm onwards.

 

 

Usual Turn Out: About 10 to 20 bikes.

 

 

Bikes: All makes, big bikes mostly, but small bikes are most welcome. But be fore warned. Small bike owners will be highly driven to get a bigger machine very soon after hanging out here.

 

 

Motovarsiti

 

 

Location: Kallang Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant.

 

 

Date & Time: Every Friday, 8.30pm onwards.

 

 

Usual Turn Out: About 10 to 20 bikes.

 

 

Bikes: All makes, big bikes mostly, owned by bikers from the National University of Singapore. Talking bike with these guys is like going through a technical manual the fun way!

 

 

 

JM Bikers

 

 

Location: Coffee shop at the Junction of Jalan Masjid (JM) and Changi Road.

 

 

Date & Time: Every weekday evenings, 7pm onwards.

 

 

Usual Turn Out: About 10 to 20 bikes.

 

 

Bikes: All makes and sizes, a lot of large tourers and sport bikes. Cool Malay bikers mostly, with so much experiences to share.

 

 

 

 

Team 27

 

 

Location: Corner Coffee Shop at Geylang Lorong 27. Look for huge bikes.

 

 

Date & Time: Everyday, 9pm onwards.

 

 

Usual Turn Out: About 10 to 20 bikes.

 

 

Bikes: All makes, usually big bikes. It'd be better if you know someone from the Team to talk to or intro you to those who are there. If you like touring, this group is for you. Well planed tours with backup vehicle and coaches for non-biking family members are just part of the ride!

actually i didnt quite measure how much oil i drain out. i just took out the oil filter and shook some engine oil out. cos i did top up about 1.5l. if u top up about 1.3l i think it should be ok if u just leave the oil there.

 

pour half of the STP engine flush into your engine thats about .25ml. Dont ride the bike just leave it at fast idle

 

oil filter i got it from Mah Motosports for $6 its using the honda oem XR4 oil filter

for engine oil m using TOTAL Syn 15w - 50w from Carrefour at $4

 

the one that daystar is talking about is the engine oil he can for us its called FUCHS SIKOLINE fully syn at $15.

got to take down some of their plate number....dunno whether this belongs to anyone here...

Well. it has been a hectic week for me man...preparing job interview and hari raya...phew!...ok...now lets get down to business....

 

About the servicing...i hope to get it done by next week...hopefully...most probably i will change at work shop coz i need to tune up my carb....and change my sprockets...

 

The money for the hotel and the oil...is it ok..if i pass to Daystar by this sat...I will confirm our reservations next week...juz to double check that they receive our reservations for the rooms...

Today I have difficulties starting my bike and its going on and off

all the way to work. What a bummer to start work for the week after long leave.

Suspect its my plug.

Anyone knows whats the size for the plugs.

Need to get it replace. Should I get the iridium plugs? Ngk Or Denso???

i recently also had this problem..

mine was when iw as trying to fix the crash bar, so was opening some stuff etc..didint really know what i was doing..

anyways

when i wanted to ride.. press the e-steart.. sounded wierd.. as bike refuse to starT!!

is that what ur facing?

 

me i panic-ed!!

was it some thing i did..

i donno..

i start turning the idle switch.. and still the same..

so last resort.. i engagged the choke... and turn trottle while e-start.. and it startted up..

anyways.. after that i didint need to choke anymore..

really dont know what was the problem,

 

hope i dont have to do that again..

steady lah, most likely bike is too "cold" if you have not been using it for a few days.

 

what i usually do before i start is to "shake" my babe up a little. Engage the choke, then e-start.

 

SO FAR SO GOOD, start the first time every time.
