Hi everyone! I've just got my license today and I've been eyeing on the Honda Varadero XL125! But it seems quite rare here in Singapore. Anyone could enlighten me on where I can purchase this particular bike? (: Hope to get some help here! Thank you!

 

Have been stopped so many times by paser by asking if the bike 600 or 200 , cos they see my triangle :). It also gets you ready for the 2A license very well . As handling such a big bike is good experience , also due to weight is very stable at higher speeds .

 

Very nice ride ..... Even my office resident Hell riders say the ride really sweet :)

 

Have come across many enthusiaists in Europe also , and they send me whole complete xl125 service manual even... So well supported in terms of how-to's.

Hie guys..need opinions n help...

Just bought my Vara today frm Heng motors at changi rd... experienced some problems when starting bike... seems to me lyk low batt power..

The other thing is..hw can i boost the pick up? My bike's pick up is reali slow when moving off...n its quite a hassle especially at traffic lights..

Its my 1st tyme riding a Vara..n i seriously noe nuts abt it.. rode RXZ previously.. can anyone share sum pointers?? Or recommend a gud shop for Vara? Thx!

First u should check that all is ok before u leave the shop.

 

The vara125 pickup is relatively weak. U have to throttle more then moving off. However some guys dont really find it that weak.

 

Get someone trust to look at your bike.

For me i never trust bike shop.

Thanks. I just bought vara125 too but is from a friend. I sent my bike to bikeworkz ah beng to tune up and service the bike plus replaced the LCD panel. All went well and I think he's kinda friendly and not bad service just a little busy:D

Can try asking motoworld. Maybe they can order. Tall windscreen can get from them also. Abt 130. I dont know how much though

i just change pirelli scorpion trail for $240 at unique.... nt that good it'll wobble when cornering

Service carb? Less than 100 if rmbr correctly. Had to change one of the carb pins also. My advise is to service the air filter also since they will remove your fuel tank to take out the carb. The shop can modify knn air filter to fit to the bike also

i'm looking for cheaper air filter cause the stock ones are really overpriced.. $130 from FJT

Yes knn air filter much much cheaper than stock. Cant rmbr the price though. Maybe less than 90

Haha. Yeah im selling my bike! But my seat i added extra cushion. Im tall so i prefer taller seat height.
