I was discussing this in my other thread on HIR bulbs, but figured perhaps it might be more useful to start a separate thread for this.

In my search for waterproof switches, this is what I have so far:

1. SW Motech switches as mentioned by a fellow member - expected cost $30-45, good for mounting on handlebar

2. Hella lighted rocker switches from Australia, being supplied by @anodise57 I believe. Panel mount, IP65 rated, but no word on price or availability yet

3. Carlingswitch lighted rocker switch and actuator. Panel mount, IP68 rated, together ~$20 from rs-online.com

4. Molveno amber lighted rocker switch. Panel mount, IP65 rated, $5.55 from rs-online.com

(For information on the IP rating system, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_Code )

Any information on any other models/sources would be helpful. Thanks!

hey, nice switches, but what mod have you done

Haha.... nothing as such, just wanna install switches for my headlights - independent for left & right ideally. And I'm looking for good quality switches cos I don't want them to be spoilt every 6 months by rain and dust etc :) Of course, it's also useful to know in case I do more mods in the future :p
