The windshield repair kits are for chips. They rarely work once a crack has developed. The fix a windshield shops probably won't be able to fix it either if it's more than a few inches long. It might cost you a $100 or more to fix a crack that big and it might not last. Rough guess $300 to replace the windshield. Call some glass shops for a free estimate over the phone. Put in a claim for a windshield a week after you bought the car and I doubt that you will still have insurance next week.

i only know/own/use the 'sticky-worm' thingy.. u can get them from musafa the Hardware section.its dirt-cheap and there's quite a few to choose from too.

Thanks... been there... But the stock doesn't seems to be moving... worried that the worm might not be "Sticky" when you need it...

Motoworld got sell the tire plugger but quite ex($70). Get the tire repair kit from Mustafa and go to your bike shop to get a better quality sticky-worm.

I have an old Gun Type Tire plugger, just found out they do sell the plugger... mine existing tire plugs are too old... more than 13years old. Will be getting some form MotoWorld.

Then bicycle hand pumps are the best option for when you run a flat. Hmm.

Yes, they do come in handy... but to hunt for one that can pump till 300psi is not easy... common units can't pump beyond 150psi...

I think normal bicycle foot pump is better than hand pump. many years ago, bought a foot pump from Boon Siew along Bt Timah for $50 plus . gread stuff.

Got the model or Picture of it?

Seen a few model that can handle up to 300psi... but all these model lack one important feature.... A foot holder....

A foot holder allow the user to use it's feet to hold the unit tehe ground and use either on hand to pump it... it allows the user to change hand during pumping up the tire... less tiring than using one hand to hold and the other to pump....

Just saw a Electric Pump at Motoworld, quite a small unit... but the cost is six red notes... Any body tired that model?

To Me....

err...why not just inject the Ride-On TPS product and not worry about tire repairs? costs a bit more but lasts the lifetime of the tires...

Er... IMHO, I won't go with this option... High speed balancing problem... :(

Oh... Well... I ever use it many years ago on my Sunny (Car)... boy was it chappy! Upon taking off the tyre... Spend another $XXX to remove the stupid sticky glum... off my sport rim... Nightmare!

150 psi? Even petrol kiosk pump machines dont go that high.

I had trouble filling up 70 psi for my hybrid bicycle. I had to fill to 60, and top up the rest using a hand pump.

Quality hand pumps can give you superior pressure, but volume wise, not so good. That jerking off motion is very tiring after a while.

I think you mean kpa.

Hand pumps are portable enough to be stuffed into your case. Foot pumps, not so much.

I have a zefal foot pump at home. The seal is still strong after 5 years. Has the foot pegs to step on, and good volume. No pressure indicator, but thats fine.
