No need to send for inspection if laying up. Just go to LTA to sort out the layup procedures (bring the road tax disc)

After getting your license, tow bike for inspection, get insurance, then go back to LTA to pay the road tax and put your bike back on the road.

if i go LTA do the layup paper work already my bike park where? or must tow to somewhere?

Just a suggestion as i dont know the condition of this bike you are buying. If it hasnt been move for a long time, the battery is probably dead and some parts needed to change as well.

1. Choose your favorite bike shop.

2. Tow the bike to this shop and park the bike there.

3. Task the shop to settle everything for you.

4. From layup, unlay, bike insurance, service the bike, bike inspection and bike transfer ownership.

since TS no licence, i suppose the bike was already laid up.

qn is does laid up bike need to go for inspection? has TS got his licence n want to unlaid the bike?

like blackdawn said, laid up bike should not need inspection. call up LTA n check if the bike is laid up, n ask if inspection period is up, how to proceed.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?
