Just tot I'll share my DIY session with everyone...

Well my manual recommends to change the fuel hose every 4 years, but I believe my bike's fuel hose were never replaced before.

So first stop was to head to FJT to go parts shopping... :cheeky:

Basically I got a fuel tap, a fuel filter, the rubber fittings for the fuel pump and fuel filter, the fuel hoses (3 pieces) and the clips for the fuel hoses...

Now that I have procured all the items, I have to take off my tank and remove all the old parts.

Fit the new fuel tap to the tank

Install the rubber fitting to the fuel pump and fit hoses B and C to the fuel pump

Pop the tank back on and fit the hose in

Screw in the fuel knob and we're done

Normally when I go down to any bike shop to say my fuel hose leaking, they will just cut out the harden part and just fix it back in... See the difference between new hose and my hose... Dunno cut how many times lioz... :giddy:

Fuel hose will harden and crack overtime, handphone camera lousy, dunno you guys can see the cracked lines or not... :cheeky:

Anyways those of you who wanna DIY change fuel hoses, remember to bring lots of water, coz when you remove the hoses there will be petol everywhere and you need to wash it away quickly before it ruins your spraywork. :cheeky:
