check with you guys, is your RPM at 100, 110 and above? redline?

eh normally 100-110 should be ard 8.5k should not hit redline

the prob might be that the rollers wear out already as stock rollers really cmi :help:

better check if its the rollers b4 it spoils the variator, btw recko and i both encounter this high rpm prob le :goodluck:

Pls correct me if I'm wrong, I think Malossi has rollers for stock variators of GTS200 by the size of 20x14. I think Polini and Dr Pulley might have the similar one for it as well, this I'm not very sure...

I was rushing at that time, never bring any paper and pen a long, if not would have written a note down to ask her to let me know where she got it.

So silly of me...

Ok then, since u got the pic, means there's really somebody bringing in this model. Where u took this pic? How about go back there and leave him/ her a note? If u require our help, we'll be glad to help u on this matter.:cheeky:

By the way, did u try looking for it @ Bukit Merah (aka Alexandra Village)? The motor shop there might sell, but be reminded that their chopper are quite sharp there! :sian:

By the way, I prefer your previus pic of yourself, look cuter! Ha ha, update your good news!

Hi scooterist, I've just checked with Mah Pte (distributor for SYM) and they mentioned for SYM's new batch of scoots, they only bring in GTS and Fighter, Mio was never in at all according to them.

Btw, the one you saw on the road is it another model? Cuz Mio actually looks quite identical to this scoot Aprilia Mojito which I've attached the pic below:

I rode a mio when i was staying in Taiwan! Its quite a nice bike. The meter changes color blue/green/red everytime u on/off the lights. But the top speed is only 90km-110km depending on the wind.I tried leaning forward but the wind only managed to push me up to 110km/h n dats it....hahaha But tis bike handles well.I did corners with the stands striking the ground n its still stable like a cucumber!:cheeky:

just a little repeat information but just for the info to be maintained on a GTS thread.

Just gotten my GTS last weekend so here's a summary.

1. Great handling when compared to X9 which sometimes you'll have to fight it a bit. Note: X9 not X8.

2. Pretty smooth ride.

3. A lot of functional compartments and a nice dashboard.

4. Engine seems to run pretty cool. Temperature is always at 1 bar. Total there are 4 bars. Maybe its digital meter kelong but thats what I see for now.

5. Power cannot be compared to the Italian engines. If speed and power is your thing then go for the X8 BUT if you have a 2A then you may wanna consider the GTS250. Paper specs says 21 horses.

6. Small little features like the foldable pillion footrest is a welcomed feature for most pillions as they'll won't have to put their feet at an awkward angle.

7. The seat is lower therefore pretty easy to reverse and all.

8. Seems lighter than an X9.

9. Underseat space not big enough for my Nolan flip up but its not a biggie to me as I always put it in my rear box.

10. Quite a fair bit of cosmetic ah-beng-zhnnnggg-my-bike aftermarket parts out there. I'm considering a few as well now. Hur hur hur...

Ok, maybe scooterist should see this thread and she might reconsider her idea of getting this mio. 90-110km/h, not an ideal speed for S'pore as it's faster pace over here.

Great comment! Also to add on, GTS got this side stand power cut function, so u wouldn't ride off with your side stand on!

The side stand engine cut off switch is a common feature for all modern autoscoots. Thats why I didn't list it out. :D
