So wats is the fuel consumption like for the joyride 200?

Which mototiam offers the best price?

Regards.

Fuel consumption for me is ard 26-29km/L. travelling mostly expressway

plus abit of normal road. I shld be consider light on my throttle, mostly I

try not to open throttle too much. ave speed on highway is 80+km/h.

there seem 2 be a few of u guys wanting to buy JR, probably u might

1 2 meetup together n go mototiam to get btr Quote .

Good luck.

Hi All,

yah the bike really popular now ! I keep seeing it on the road also !

I have been riding the bike since OCT 04. And I seriously did some research last time before buying it so if you really need advice, pls PM me then I sent you the info I sent to many others last time !

Just some info abt the bike for pple interested in the bike....

So far my mileage is 10800km. Done the first servicing at 1000km at tai hin for $24, change engine oil + transmission oil. Not going back again due to some personal reasons......

Second servicing done myself at 5000km, change engine oil castrol R4 at $15 from LIM AH BOY at kelatan lane.

third servicing going to do soon at 11000km perhaps...too busy...Maybe will call sb_rider cos he very gd at DIY servicing! hehe...! This time going to change engine oil, transmission oil, spark plug, maybe clean air filter.......then belt + roller don know how to change...

My fuel consumption quite gd I think...max is 30km/ltr....norm is around 27-29km/ltr . A full tank cost ard $11.50 for shell 95 then for me can travel to ard 190-210km.

So far the bike smooth to ride but top speed low....When going above 100km...got funny sound + rough feeling...So I also don travel at that speed nowadays..hehe

Most noticeable disadvantage is small fuel tank at 8.5ltr...very small for scooter...so keep in mind if you intend to do touring to malaysia...

Other than that I really recommend the bike for anybody who is a newbie with scooter like me...

PM me if you all wants more info ! take care !

Where is tai hin? Will u recommend it for fellow JR riders? If not, any motordiam u think is good for servicing this bike?

Btw is there a link here discussing what are the essential maintenance needed for this bike? Like what to service/change at what mileage etc...Thanks for yr advice! Grateful for it.. :thumb:
