Help needed here!

Hi there, i just changed to a domino racing footrest for my sparks. However, the gear sometimes will jam. Cannot change gear at all.. Anyone know what had happened?

your front foot rest/lever...position is not right..

adjust that..it should be ffine..

As above, do a close inspection of the linkages (if any) on your new footrest, especially if the position of the footrest is altered from stock configuration. See if any of the mechanisms are sticking at certain angles, and if it is properly assembled.

 

Like all new mechanical linkages they may need some time to 'wear in' and become smooth. You can also spray chain lube or drop some sewing machine oil onto the sticking joints and work the gears up and down while moving - and that will help free up the mechanism.

 

DO NOT use WD40 as it's a degreaser, not a lubricant.
