once u r riding outside,u'll know y issit necessary to check everytime...

 

i agree tat sometimes u may forget to check,but those few times,u might have the scare of yur life... eg.car nearly bang into u when u change lane without noticing the veh beside u etc...

 

i used to have this mentality too...check for wat? once i was outside riding,then i realise y checking blindspots r so impt...

i dont mean when changing lane.. i mean when turning out from small junctions when you know there ISNT ANY car/bikes around..

he saying blind spot mah.. i usually check blindspot also.. dont really bother checking back thou, mirror can see.. but left/right of bike cannot see.. so check.. but ya maybe sometimes forget... like what honda_xr4 says.. its sometimes dangerous if you forget to check.. almost hit a couple bikes before :sweat:

let me give u a piece of advice...

 

when inside school,whether is lesson or TP,just show them u r safe...

once pass liao,u dun check,nobody will say anything liao...

Nika, yes, hardly anyone check back move off outside.

Blind spot, i say YES, lots of people check.

ok, the tester did give u lots of points. mostly on blind spot checking. Lets not talk about checking back anyway.

I suggest, if u do go for yr road revision. Take the chance to talk to yr instructors. ask them, what's the proper way of checking blind spot outside, before a turn. Improve on it.

Many times, we make mistakes, that we can't see. Esp during tests, when u'r feeling all so nervous and start forgetting certain procedures u've to do. and u don even realise them.

Test... i would say is luck + skills. Why luck? You check back, but tester never see, they still give u points for that. That's bad luck. That's something that cannot be argued. Since now u already know what the testers want or is looking out for during a test, why not do it the right way. Ask yr instructors and practise it right.

In TP test, they'r looking more at safety rather than yr skills in circuit. Why? Given the higher accident rate now, they'r more strict when it comes to test.

When u'r on the road, its how you react to the traffic and applying what u've learned in the driving center to survive.

check back blind spot should be routine by now..

 

i kena 1 still sumhow.. but worst, E-brake nv hit spd (im shocked) 6 points.. ouch!

 

2 mistakes already 10 points.

 

really hard to pass nowadays.. 16th sept tp, passing rate 24/90. jia lat.. how to pass nex wk??? :sian:

lei mong, my tag is 49 i tink.. urs? mine 2nd time. sibeh sian. im NOT going to wear lucky clothes.. no luck one. NOT going to wear guard too. NOT goin to do properly. hopefully doing everything tombalek from 1st time mayb got some fortune. haa...

 

3wk nv touch bike.. feel funny sia. ride bicycle always forget left side not clutch.

haha you keep "clutching" in while u stopping issit? then when moving off wanna pedal cannot pedal properly cause "half clutch" ar? :cheeky:
