Good piece of advice....also try to start banking and turn handle bar slightly after clearing one cone as tis will give u more space to maneuver around the cone. At this point no extra revving of throttle....otherwise too fast u bang into the next cone

 

I guess it's getting into the rhythm...straight...bank...straight....bank....like dancing wif the bike liddat......there's once i got into de rhythm quite well...nearing TP date lost it a bit...mebbe coz practise too much...hehe

haha last time i saw a guy bend like v zhai then monkey see monkey do lor nearly fall scare mi tat,s y nw a bit phobia of banking.. ok will try harder on next RC!!! thanks guys!!!!

No need bank too much...i aso dunno how to balance or bank....some RCs I more bold aso try to bank hard....but no skill nearly overbalance den jerk de bike quickly upright to de other side......tis is aso considered a "wobble"...den later instructor shout at me "Oei tag no XX, why u keep wobbling at pylon??"

 

nvmind lah...since i no skill...i juz turn handlebar and bank slightly slightly....still can clear pylon lor....

 

mebbe u will be more zhai den me ah min when comes to ur TP dat time and u practise more

 

one thing i like abt my bike now is dat de make of de bike is such dat banking it is much easier den de sch bike lor.....of course i noe my banking skill still lan, so juz bank a little only...but i was surprised at how stable de bike is during banking.... nice!

you must at least tell me a bit of your ride tactic before i can give you advice.

BTW, pylom, you must be daring, fast.

even if you hit the cone, juz move on. dont lose your concentration.

a lot of ppl fall from bike due to lack of concentration after they hit the cone. they slow down and look back. this action cause they to slow down and bike start to wobble.

 

if the cone fall, park the bike at a safe area and walk back to place back the cone.

tis is my opinion as taught by my lesson 3 instructors last time...mebbe there are variations.....

 

if ur RC instructor is nice....can ask him to pillon you and do pylon....den u will get the concept very quickly...

if you use this method, you must used to the sudden jerk when you open the throttle.

 

for me, i maintain the throttle at a comfortable throught the whole course after kick up to 2nd gear. i usually willl speed up after the last cone. remember to check right hand blind spot after the course.

vespa is cute...but it looks high for me and i feel it's rather light.....

 

hehe......nxt wk i post k? tis few days very busy...but surely u have seen an SP b4 SSDC always got quite a few.......or one day if u have evening lesson, if i free i ride down and let u sit and have a feel of it =) if u want, u can arrange wif me lorz....sometimes need to go AMK do some stuff too....

ah jim say liddat machiam racer sia....u muz have been de racer bad boy during ur RC days in SSDC .....de kind corner until crash bar kena de ground...kreeeeeeeekkkk!!!

 

i admit u shld not bother to stop if u hit a cone......after whole course is done den get down and go put back...if some instructors nearby they will put back and juz ask u to continue lorz =)

jhawk i tried both methods b4 if maintain throttle wun wobble so much bt speed quite slow everytime instructor saw n said so slow hw to pass??? haha.. the open n close throttle will wobble a lot n super unsteady bt if do it well sure can pass under 6 sec.. will try hard hard on RC again!!

wildcat dun nid to trouble u lah haha mi everytime after wrk reach ssdc juz nice.. afraid dun haf spare time to view ur bike.. keke nvm next outing then can see ur bike..hey so u ride u got wear jacket n full face helmet??

then you have to open the throttle more to gain more speed.

practice and slowly increase your speed.

will definately clear the course under 6 sec.
