My lesson 8 is on monday and my crank course and figure 8 still like lesson 2 student one... I see some lesson 2 guys more zai then me some more.... But towards the end instructor said that my figure 8 got slight improvement... Dunno good or bad leh...

i am facing a prob dun dare tell instructor till nw i change gear from 3th to 2nd bike still will jerk n v loud noise i try release cluth slowly bt doesn,t wrk.. like tat really pai seh to go road lesson after L5 haha..

you must slowly release your clutch and slowly turning you throttle.

 

if you turn throttle first and release your clutch too sudden, you bike will definately jerk.

 

if you release clutch first following by throttle, your might jerk due to sudden increase of power, unless you can control your throttle well.

 

best method is play with the biting point.

1. clutch fully

2. kick from 2nd to 3rd gear.

3. slowly release clutch till the biting is.

4. when clutch have reach the biting point, increase your throttle slow and steady.

5. fully release your clutch, now you can regulate your speed fully on your throttle.

6. practice make perfect..

when i change up gear like e.g 2nd to 3rd nt prob at all v smooth bt dunnoe y change dw gear wil like tat somemore tis is L1 learn wan the most basic instructor will hell at mi n shook head if i ask tis kind of qns hehe...

 

angel u can ask instructor to bring u to the big carpark tat is centre of ssdc n practise conering , banking after tat u go fig 8, crank course n pylom will be much easier n smoother.. i tried tat it helps

ah min.. maybe ur speed too fast? coz u muz tap a bit of ur brake b4 u drop gear...

 

tt time when i doing road lesson.. i ride veri fast.. then.. approaching traffic light.. then i drop from 4th gear to gear 2.. the engine veri loud.. think rpm too high liao.. then the rear tyre is like skidding.. lucky no fall down

yah when drop gear engine v loud the jerking part still ok coz so loud everyone can hear pai seh la if still cannot tink really haf to ask instructor to help or else when L6 mi either will end up road hogging ( coz dun dare to change dw gear ) or engine super loud haha

Ah min he's right... if your speed too fast u drop gear your bike will feel like it surge forward like a jerk....

 

slow down your speed then as u drop gear, u release the clutch slowly and turn the throttle slightly. It helps for me so that it becomes smoother.

did... still doesnt help sadly... i think i was too tired from staying up late last night then this morning still had lectures...
