normal tuning will do need not have to do dyno at all unless there is a PC3 on the ride. wanted to get Norman owner from Race werk to do it. was turn down as there wont be any diff till PC3 come along.

 

Can't fit PC to carb engine!

Vara is gone but back strain lingers on o_O

Hi guys,

 

I took over AJ' vara recently. In the process of sorting the bike out and giving it a Repsol makeover. My Mech reccommended a fork brace. Anyone knows where to get one locally or overseas?

chill mate. dont have to get so worked up.everyone knows PC cant fit onto a Carb bikes.Dyno is purely meant for bikes with PC to achieved a better torque and HP do u get the pics now?

Btw, I been dynotuning my bikes since 2A (RVF) after I rejetted them, and all are carb bikes. My fatger also go for dyno tuning after I changed to dynojet, and papers show show gain of HP and torque. No need PCIII to do that.

 

Fi bikes self correct as all parameters all electronically adjusted, so PC3 just allows you to tweek some parameters such as timing. But Carb bikes dont have the privilege to do so, LL got to do it manually by hand, adjusting the needle, the jets.. Dynotuning for carb bikes are a biaach compared to EFI bikes as just plug and play for the latter will do.

 

Have a talk with HKL ah xiong, listen to opinions around to compare and decide later.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Just a comment liao! Not everyone knows this and dyno can be used for carb'd engine tuning also :faint: as Varas says, apparently not everyone knows that either o_O

Neil - nice try on the singlish attempt haha but "Liao" not used this way it's used with things that's been done ie I saw the show Liao so in ur case it's lah or leh haha

Kelvin>> i have plan a shorter distance drive everyday so that we can visit/explore the place of interest during our visit. For option B , we can try to explore this unknow place. If ur MHA prefer beaches, we will go option A to samui R&R. So far i have plot all the destination point/place of interest for this trip, so no worry about going "Holland" (Lost) this round.

yup. bike gave way. oil patch. darn big lorries been entering my carpark due to kopitiam renovation. the kind that brings big equipmt like generators, tiles, cement etc.. always park near bike lots....reli CB...
