Was a 1k but I got shot of her a few months ago.

Noise cam chains, had crashed it and had problems with the registration so changed it for a blackbird 99.

Was a great bike but a sh*t in the corners on the Micehelin 66 tyres

She was also a nighmare to get through BKK traffic cause of the height - great view but no good when the going got slow - sh*t fuelling

SHe had full givi set, Remus cans and MRA adjustable screen.

And kevelar body parts looked nice.

She slid down a hill in a national park and she was ok.

a few scratches

KC >> I bought mine at $816, along with 4 other systems. SO its the price u get when u buy 5or more

Do you guys do any grounding for your ride? Is it supposed to improve mileage?

chrislayer> I did DIY grounding on my vara, mileage not much different, but the bike is more smooth than before......:)

bslong76 >>how many wires you connect?

btw guys, know of any other methods to improve mileage? heheheh

mmm.......think about 4 or 5wires.....can't remember liao......

only way to improve mileage is to throttle less or travel on highway at curising speed........

Posted

chrislayer>> bslong is correct, control of the right hand is impt.

Anyway , Vara suprisingly had a mileage not much diff from AT when both cruising at 150km/h.

Plus minus few RMs of petrol only for the same amt of mileage and speed.

Vara>> Yup ...i think so...my last trip petrol consumption almost same like u leh...maybe i stress too much of my bike catching u guys ...that why VVV saw me fish tail from behind..

Chrislayer>> so u decide ur choice of the bike....have u got ur bike..seems like u hunting for so long.

VVV>> YUP Zion Road.....Will Bring Sam down as we miss the chicken wing there. If Confirm i will ask Jimmy down also (just next his blk). Make it wed nite so that we can see the xiao mei mei....

I think you really mad liao.... gonna change the $2K tank??

I suspect you print $$ lah..... Actually...emm... me interested also ley... :-(

ATwin >>

Yar yar...tell me about it ... you fish fish like limo...Ok wed can do..

Tonight me can't come also

Can you help SMS the brothers..?

bslong & chrislayer >>

The grounding cable logic same like car ones...

Tag cables to starter, engine, alternator, battery and radiator/fan.

However, it will only have an effect on older bikes due to inefficiency of old cablings.

Not expected to increase horsepower or save fuel...

just that it helps to restore back the efficiency of a much newer bike.

Did some research on tat before.
