1) What brand of mainstand is better, since there is no OEM mainstand for

vara 1k. Where got ready stock for the mainstand? Don't wanna order.

 

2) I'm only getting 13km/litre of petrol, any place good for tunning our bike?

M-Technik can get Hepco,Wilbers,wunderlich and Touratech..

 

Motoworld can find windscreens like MRA & Ermax..

Bro, sorry to burst the bubble but I did not just fix it ar. Came with the bike when it rolled out from the shop in Jan 2007..

 

Based on feedbacks from my mechs( I explore alot.. Khe khe)...Price range between $180 - $300++. Hope you will take time to explore first or else regret later.. a little patience goes a long way.. wait if not stock, lucky if have.. end of the day, it will look goooodddd !!!

 

I recommend the one Ian aka Vara, Me & myself using.. Itz curve base is more stable for irregular surfaces. Eg: Tarmac surfaces with

'bopeng' here & there..

 

Mine is useful for daring riders who wish to do he 180degress turn like mechs do in workshops.. I 'learnt' to do from a mech but not recommended though.. also, the right base leg will get a bit unstable cuz of wear & tear.. still useable but inexperienced users can get into 'paisei' accident; bike failing over the other side.. it happended many times for me while still learning to 'date' my fatgerl. i can cope now but advise you to get the ones like Ian..

Have any of you experience this.... My bike backfire and stall in traffic light while idling alot of smoke came out from the engine i tink coz smoke came from under seat.... Happen twice on my way home jux now.... I thought siao liao what happened!!! but i can still start the bike and ride home.... Please enlightened me, hopefully not something major... i suspect is faulty plugs...

Backfire before during morning start....eventually find out that the air/fuel mixture too rich, with the help of the dyno chart shown. If happen frequent, maybe try to re-jet the carb & synchronize it. Any sign of high fuel consumption...
