I was quote by Chan M-Technik w/install $260 & $180 without. But he replied that chging the spring does not nid to remove the seal & oil

 

My mech quote me $80 for full installation w/oil chg but without seal.

 

Hi Tony you can change the spring only without seal but it's advisable to change the oil since removing the spring.

 

I bought my Wilbers spring from Germany, cost also 99 euro. more expensive actually.

I sent my bike to motodiam for fixing last saturday.

plus some other servicing stuff oso.. been tweaky riding lately...

 

maybe in couple of days can see my fatgerl agn.....

 

Just call my mech.. the front needs lotsa work.. Cone-bearing change.. Fork seal change.. fork oil change.. No wonder riding my fatgerl lately feels llike riding a camel.. Hope to get my ride back by tomorrow.. if not, sian lar become MRT-boy!!

Alamak i was at Simpang last night 10pm sharp but can't find any Varas parked at the Roti John King eating place. Worst did not see the latest post on "meeting 7-11 behind" lor... is this the regular meeting spot?

sigh never mine next meet up any kind bros can keep me posted via PM will be much appreciated! :)

 

Just to share I got 2 offer for a Vara 125cc:

A. 3 Y/O full cash at $6k region

B. Left 2 years full cash at $4k region

Both 2nd owners riding now.

 

Is this price reasonable for a Vara?

What should i be looking at?

What are the other cost like Road Tax? Comprehensive insurance etc?

I must apologise for being an mature idiot and asking so many qs, here am very familair few cars but come to bikes... forest gump lor.

I am having buddies riding the mentioned Bike..and My Gut feelings tell me that the 1st offer is favorable. Take note of the condition, any accessories come with the bike tho. Insurance up to an individual Age, riding experience.

For those VARA brudders who ordered the Powerbronze windshield like me during the BikeAsia fest, the Powerbronze windshield shipment has arrive and ready for collection..

 

Spoke to Ian earlier, who is holding the receipt. Hope he don't mind if can collect for us and we chaps can meet up somewhere to fix together.. a good reason for a VARA meet-up again!

 

Finally can see how powerbronze lite-protector looks like tomorrow.. Yipee!
