still raining at the west...what a boring sunday.

Been down with a bad flu and the weather is not helping. Recuperated all of Sunday. Nothings done. Even the thought of leaving my roo is scary. Its too damn cold outside. The winds going straight to the bone.

 

Managed a look at the sticker though. Will werk on it lah. Recovery more impt. Final blast of fire till dec then its the CNY months break for me. Hope to get back to werk tmr.

M-Technik carries Hepco & Becker crash bars for abt $400++. The one Zac has on his bike can get at Motorworld for $450.. I got my SW Motech ones at BikeTech 21 for abt $300++..

 

What's happened to your fatgerl? Hope everything is ok..

 

 

I swear upon the crashbars i am using lah. If only you guys saw my bike flying in the air that fateful night. Phew.

Its for showing the three nations flag. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Just for some info , Last time Givi got a bad reputation. Not only it didn't absorb the impact of the spill, it gave way and the bar pierce through the radiator.... don't know if thats been refine now..

Had a freaky skid along BKE, somewhere near the SLE flyover exit on Saturday. Happen in the evening, 7pm -plus. front car jammed break cuz anoter car cut into his lane abruptly. i break like normal but road conditions very wet and slippery. Right-side crash bar in bad condition cuz bike kena skid forward a few metres. Lucky some M'sian motorists help me lift my bike up. Worst is the car infront just sped away. :gun:

 

 

Suffer some scrapes and bruises. Had to go for X-ray scan on left shoulder due to acute pain, refer me to see orthopedic to check actual damage. good ting is no fracture but might be some ligament-related tingy.

 

 

Bike can move but need to check to motodiam to play safe. Now having problems turning right cuz the crash bar shape a bit distorted; langgar my fork. I checked my tyres; discover bulges somewhere in the threads. Need to change new set soon. suspect i skidded cuz not enough grip on road; sumore dat day wet weather.

Is there any similar aftermafket one that would fit?

 

And one other question, does anybody know of a wire mesh powder coated grill light protector for the 2002 model ?

 

Free on Wednesday night if you are having a Kopi, would like to meet some Bro's?

 

Will be riding to malaysia. destination unknown .....for lunch (9th Sep public Holiday, one day ride)

Leave riding west coast and over bridge to Malaysia

Cruse a bit in Malaysia, Have lunch

Come back on other bridge and ride east coast and home .

 

Anybody keen to join me, suggestions for lunch spot with in half days riding?

So far the only mesh headlight protectors for all models are all D.I.Y...

 

2007 undercowl for a 2002 model? Maybe we can try to check the EFi model if the securing points are similiar.. btw its expensive.. Check with KC.. he asked the price already.
