as part of the unorganized vara group, there are some pointers i would like to bring up;

1) know your ride well cause u know what you rode...

2) do invest in a road map, study a little on where you are going. It is better that way when you do get lost. I still believe in REAL maps.

3) do wear proper attire for riding in-case of mishap(touch wood). Is not we wear to show off but for the occasion.

4) do think of other road user also think of safety first, don't be a hero so that we could ride another day.

On the way back....Phillip was too hungry that he miss the stop at Pagor R&R.

it was raining and i already got my raincoat on. along the way, i cannot find you guys so i thought that the destination is GP. in fact, i was so so so hungry in the rain, i already decided to sink my teeth into KFC fried chicken. only to realise that the KFC shop got no power, thus no chicken. i had to settle for a closing food stall with cold chicken meat but rice. in such situation, the plain white rice really taste the best. fill my stomach and strength me... hahaha.

All>> May i suggest next time, we ride in buddy(pair) system, Easier to keep a watch out among each other. As usual, once vara in NS high way , we will go wild.....:cheeky: :cheeky: End of the day, we met all our objectives..Chendol & ATV ride. As for Video, pls give me sometime for video editing unless u guys want from raw production...

Yeah bro, buddy system nice. Find a partner for the whole trip. Ride together, pee together, sleep together. Very nice.

Zac,

I'm ok. Just low morale about what happen to me during the trip...

The 'out-of-petrol' incident was truly a downer.. I dun blame you for not diagnosing the 'glitch' properly.. its kinda stupid mistake on my part..

To the rescue team; Atwin, Chrislayer, Fuji and Zac.. Apreciate ur help that day.. Thanx a million

Apologies to all who was at the trip for the delay cause due to my ordeal... Thanks for your kind understanding!!!

Learning issues during this trip >>

1) Should have stop by side when my reserve was on and travelling more than 20km ++.. but i didnt know that my fuel consumption was down bad than normal.. Funny thing is I pump full tank before set off... will send bike back in shop to see whats the culprit...

Chrisayer, will take ur advice for future trips. thanx.. Wish you speedy recovery for your ATV-related injuries!!

2) Communication was a bit lacking during this trip, as simple as signaling during convoy towards turning, riding in safe formation.. The run-through in Mallaca town was a bit scary cuz the trafic condition was a bit haywire.. Thinking back, I had a friend who met accident there oso cuz the trafic kinda 'no government'. it might be fun for some but on safety aspects, it should rise a concern.. However, I was glad that this time, the markers and sweepers did their tasks well. Kudos to you all, whomever you are..

3) the buddy system is great idea.. A novice tourer like me needs someone close during riding, esp at night.. The trip back was scary for me as it was raining heavy and i could not see anyone on sight. Lucky DAvid and Chrislayer was close and somewhat guide me along the way.. It was assuring to know VARA brudders was close by.. Den again, I feel kinda bad that they had to tagg on me as my bike was unable to proceed above 140km/h...too slow for them i suppose... a real downer for me as it was darn iritating riding at that speed all the way..

The chendol... The Mutton Kurma... The ATVs.. OLd town coffee makan..

What more can i say.. SWEET!!!! :thumb:

P.S: I didnt go to work next day.. Doctor 'insist' I take enough bed-rest.. Bless that doctor who attend to me even though i had to wait over an hour to see him!!!

Next time anything must flag anyone fo us. Chris was the sweeper northbound. I was there southbound. And never never ignore that orange/yellow light. Its your bike toking to you that she is thirsty. Feed her.

Go get it checked it out.

To hit reserve at the 200 km mark, you have to weigh 170kg and ride at 210kmph constantly with aftermarket pipes. None of which you are or have so bro, go and get your bike checked and practice your signature.

I am sorry but i must admit that i was a lil pissed. No point hiding. We brudder brudder, dun wanna keep these feelings. I guess its all good now. The weather, hunger, thirst, waiting ard and the fact that we had hungry women in our convoy just aggravated the situation.

Anyways, keep us updated about the problem. We might wanna get our bikes checked too. OK bro, all the best.

Cheers all.

Oit! pulatee... u tink i duno wat the yellow lite on izit? i know lar i on reserve but didnt expect the fuel reserve to go lower den normal dei!!!

Wat dis 200km.. 170kg... 210km/h?.... u better not meking fun of anyone... or somebody's going to get it real bad!!!

for those who endure the experience, weather, hunger, thirst, waiting etc.. part of package for touring.. not only you, me included... for the women part, i got no say.. u wana ride along is a blessid experience but sometimes... sometimes.. this type of ting can happen to anyone of us?

Zac brudder, hope you understand that I am bit taken back by ur comments.. remember ur tyre leaking incidentduring KL/Colmar trip? didnt everyone of us gave positive advice and really hope u will join us all the way? Why? because we emphatize with you predicament!!! Whatever it is...

Hey kotek, I agree, in times good and bad, we are friends and i would be there for you.

But dun be taken aback all lah, bunga lah you. Please. My rim dented in Singapore and i could not have carried on. And i would not have if i din get the positivity from you guys. I would have ridden home instead cos i wouldnt wanna jeopardise the convoy. Ask Ian, he was just toking about it the other day, about me going back home, getting my bike fixed, and meeting you guys in bukit bintang.

But becos i seeked advice from our brudders who have been riding longer than me, i decided to carry on. They say SO, i said GO! Tapi gua tak negligent babe. If from the start your bike cant ride faster than 130kmph, should have flagged someone to pull over to inform us kan???

I was there for your rescue on Sunday bro, and i stuck behind you all the way. Becos you brudder. If you would have told us all that your bike got problem at the start of the journey when you found out you have issues accelerating above 130kmph, dun you think i would have done what you did for me on Colmar trip (watch your back). I want you to go also. Maybe more could have looked out for you also. And we could have saved alot of trouble running ard in the heat.

Come on man, dun tok like that. Indirectly you telling me.

"""""Hey bro, i never tell ppl to pillion their women what? You know what to expect what? Why bring along your women if they are not ready for all this?

And anyone bike can spoil what, why you all like not used to touring?""""

Truth is, i am not, sharm is not and many more are not too. Maybe the others like David, Phillip, Ian, Fuji are good with touring. They know what to do and what to expect. For goodness sakes (NO OFFENSE NIALL), we had Niall with us on his Maiden riding trip up north and HE IS 58.

Just chill and just laugh it off lah bro. Taken aback aback all buat ape siak?

Just learn from this experience, just like i did, i will always check on my pet cocks and have a pre ride blast on the NSH before a ride. Just learn lah, i am learning too what.

WHAT I JUST WANNA SAY IS, BIKE SPOIL, FLAG US, WE ARE BRUDDERS, WE WILL HELP. DUN WAIT UNTIL CANNOT MOVE.

I told you, you me brudder brudder, why you always must say this and that bro??? Go lah tok to Dondidie and KC like that, see how they tok to you. I am oredi being nice.

We learn together. Simply that.

Or if i offend you so much, next time tell me lah, i wun ride with you on tours anymore lah.I ride far far. I wun come when you need help also cos i dun wan to give myself a chance to sound like a biatch. Gua pun boleh merajuk bro.I save you all the pain of typing long messages and PMs. Ok?
