Recently having this problems on my vara. :cry::cry:

2) what i encounter today while i rode down to Muar is that my rear break piston will push the break pad onto the breakdisk(as though i am breaking) even though i did not use the rear break. this only happens when the bike temp is high(slow traffic). Upon inspecting the rear breakline which sit on the right side of the swing arm, i realise that a certain part, it is only a few inches away frm the right exhaust 'header'. which i conclude that heat from the 'header' makes the 'oil'/'air' in the breakline to expand thus pushing the piston and the breakpad.

i just change my breakpad and rear break pump kit. should i do a caliper service? if so, would this happen again( heat from the 'header' makes the oil/air expand bal bla bal)[/size]

:faint::cry::faint:

Beware the rear caliper, I had a problem similar to yours, eventualy the rear brake jam on solid, the first few occassions I was able to pry the pads away from the disc with a screw driver but eventually jam solid. better get it checked out. Its unlikely the brake fluid will expand or vapour lock due to your heat from header unless something else is up with with your brakes.

Had the brakes overhauled at M-technik but not too happy with results, first was very spongy, but improved after bleeding, but the bike seems to dive more now and the left front caliper seems to pivot on its carrier a lot more than previously too.

quite like the look with the full accessories. i like the way the fog light mounted.. it is as though the crash bar is purposely customised for the fog light.

and the boxes look so nice fitted on the bike.

Similar experience, after rebuilding system completely, some valves corroded internally due to brake fluid not being changed often enough, the system operated properly, i.e. the front brake operates with pedal pressure and rear with lever.

I think they look cr@p, if they think aux lights are a useful accessory then they should have designed the cowling to accomodate them in the first place. Lights look pretty cheap also.
