Can lah! My Broken Right leg can put up Vara at full tank on main stand too, no sweat lah!

Meeting time 2200hr @ JAI (towards tuas exit 15A via AYE) we will set off at 2230hr

My final word on getting the bike up onto the centre stand. I found a way that seems to work more reliably for me. I put my right foot onto the lever of the centre stand, prop the bike onto both feet of the stand, left hand on the left handlebar grip, right hand on the left pannier rack (next to the pillion grab rail), body facing the bike, right elbows locked straight, I step straight up onto the centre stand (the locked right elbow helps this) and I pull up on my right hand while keeping my elbows locked. The bike will slowly but surely get onto the centre stand this way :)

If any bike connoisseur is looking for a Vara1k, I MIGHT want to sell my current Jan 2002 carb Vara1k - well-maintained, loaded with aftermkt parts and accessories, and a joy to ride! - with COE extended till Dec 2021. Pls refer to ad here for details.

 

Contemplating sticking to just one concubine rather than two especially when I am only a weekend joyrider. Some friends have recommended keeping both - the current a good and reliable ride, while the new fling oozes sex appeal. I beg to differ - as with all female of the species, maintaining two or more can be quite shag.

 

The new "fling" is just a matter of time... visited the showroom this morning and already got seduced :Þ

 

PM me if there is any interest (on the Vara, please, and not my new fling) and for the details. Cheers.

 

Bike to be sold as a whole, and parts will not be sold separately.

Heh heh... :)) I just bought my Vara XL1000V1... 2001 carb model. Test rode it at the shop before I buy, top heavy beast but seems easy to get along.... Original everything, 76000KM mileage. Majestic looking & Good value!

Just did servicing. New Engine Ice coolant. Pennzoil EO.

SK customised IU holder to ensure unobstructed view of display

By any chance if any of you guys are looking into getting good quality GOREtex jackets/raincoat. Please give my product a consideration too.

Alot of color choices and not the common brands of raincoat riders are using. Quality of water resistant is as good as NS issued. However, it's of a much thinner layers to suit our hot climate. Mutiple air ventilation zippers on the jacket too for riding during the day to protect from sun. More info please refer to thread or contact us! Thanks and ride safe! Cheers!~~

Hi folks, i love getting my hands dirty into restoring bikes and resell it later so that i can get on to a new project.

 

i have a 2002 Vara to sell. Superb condition especially the engine as i have restored the whole bike.... please sms 82237382 for deal. I have several offers but asking for reloan. unfortunately quite hard in singapore context to get a reloan for a bike ovr 10 year old. cheers
