Mid Jul Visit to Taihin For Dr Pulley Hit Clutch - $550 for Installation (optional $60 Dr Pulley Rollers)

 

Interested participants can first make your way down for a $100 deposit as the stocks were said to be limited.

Myself or An will post an update should Taihin notify us of the stock arrival.

Etkach3 is the only one I heard who have installed. He should be in a good position to advise, don't ask me coz I'm only good with DRZs.

Updates from a Taiwan friend tells me that there's a BIG BORE KIT for Maxsym, waiting to enquire more.

 

My last question to any kind soul here is, "has anyone tried removing the maxsym400i words from your bike, the metallic coated plastic. I wanna remove, but not scar the bike from the left over adhesive." Advise pls!

Use thin fishing line to floss between the letters and bodywork. Then with your fingers rub off the remains of the adhesive tape. Do not use thinner, simple green to assist as they are abrasive to the paint work. Use liquid polish like autoglym resin polish or armour all liquid polish to clean off adhesive stains.

Big Bore Kit to how many CC - 500cc to 550cc will be good ? I am interested to hear this:)

 

I removed the Maxsym400i wordings long long time ago. All u need is this "Goo-Gone" bought frm Diy Shops to remove the gooey sticjy tape residue...

It works wonders bro:)

If u ask me, the "Stock Dr Pulley Hit Clutch" and Original Maxsym Clutch is almost unnoticeable aka feels the same.

 

That is why Dr.Pulley supply a whole accessories of springs FOC to us when we purchase Dr Pulley Hit Clutch!

 

We need to do our own tuning But i safe the hassle for you guys as the best combo is:

 

14.5kg Clutch Spring & 25kg Pillow Spring

(Stock Hit Clutch Setup is: 12kg Clutch Spring & 20kg Pillow Spring)

 

Then you'll get to feel the "power" especially pickup and overtaking

For top end with stock 15gr rollers it can reach 150km/hr

 

The manual says: "Weaker Clutch Spring is for comfort riding, harder Clutch Spring for better accleration"

If iam not wrong the sym 200 version have big bore kit 220cc..lol

 

My goo gone finish alrdy la its quite a small bottle. U can also find at those 1-Dollar Shops..they got sell too..its $3 if iam not wrong
