so how bro? hw did the bike perform on the NSHW with the dr pulley sliders?

 

oh ya i tried top speed around 160-165km/hr @ 7100-7200 RPM. i was with pillion, total our weight about 100kg.

Full throttle will bring the bike to 140km/hr, after that it will slowly rise, i think around 30 secs later will reach max speed already.

But i didnt dare to maintain full throttle for too long, cruising at 140km is comfortable enough.

 

i think i will change to 16grm sliders the next time, 18grms not responsive enough for overtaking on the NSHW...

Coz last time i encounter squeaking sound frm the rear wheel. When ever i slow down i will here the noise.

Den i wen bck to Mah and to found that on of the rear wheel bolt loose...

I think u better check before it do more damage on yr bike

i also hear squeaking noise from rear wheel area but sometimes only, not always, even after i serviced and cleaned my transmission and clutch the sound still comes back sometimes..

should be some bolt or nut making the noise i guess, since its not transmission or clutch.

i've also have a sound when going over hump or pothole.. sound like a metal thing like loose.. when checked can found nothing is loose.. definitely its not coming from the transmission.. any1 got the same issue?

there are 2 kind of weird sounds i hear from my maxsym during low speed, but its not always there.

 

1. click click sound from front brake caliper.

2. squeaking sound coming from rear tire area.

 

they dont really bother me much now..but would like to know if any bro managed to solve the problem

bro.. ur brake click2... tat dae i encounter same prob.. i take out ma brake.. n see.. mine is d mechanic fix the pad upside down mean the pad contact onli 30 percent.. so i inverted it.. n its ok.. haha.. btw did u jz check ur brake pad..??

bro . i jz discover.. where d sound come from.. is not ur transmission or ur rear wheel . i found out.. is actualli ur main stand.. if u don believe.. take a closer look.. there's a roller.. so ur main stand would not rub against the engine.. small roller.. u nid to put ur head under ur bike side stand u can see.. i put some oil grease at d roller and d sound is gone.. pheww.. save ma tyme to go bike shop.. mayb u guys check.. hehe..

bro . i jz discover.. where d sound come from.. is not ur transmission or ur rear wheel . i found out.. is actualli ur main stand.. if u don believe.. take a closer look.. there's a roller.. so ur main stand would not rub against the engine.. small roller.. u nid to put ur head under ur bike side stand u can see.. i put some oil grease at d roller and d sound is gone.. pheww.. save ma tyme to go bike shop.. mayb u guys check.. hehe..

thanks An An bro, i saw the small roller on the main stand, i also sprayed some WD 40 on the roller and on the bolt that is holding the rear tire, went for a short ride, didnt hear anything, will continue monitoring.
