Yeah i tot of having a meet up for all our fellow MaxSym riders as to share thoughts and ideas.. Anyone up for it?

After much consideration.. I've decided to get myself the maxsym400i. Collecting on Thursday. Was looking through the forum.. Much have been discussed. But I'm unable to read all. Sorry if I end up asking questions that has already been discussed. Cheers bros!

Bros, collected my bike today and went for a petrol top up. Upon opening the fuel cap realized the top portion had quite a bit of rust.. Is it normal? Could not see if the internal also rusty..

 

Also realise that the key hole shuts with a cover whenever I pull out the key. Is there any way to stop that? Always end up using the other knob to twist open than slot in the key.. Sianz

Send back to shop to get them check out the inside for evidence of rust, at least register the point with them that you seek them for claim for rust.

 

The keyhole shutter is a good feature, do get use to it. Unless you do not want to handle lock the bike. Plus the shutter prevents notorious pranksters from shafting match sticks or toothpicks into the slot.

Haha. True also. Will get used to it than. But making spare key will have a problem I guess.

The seat seems to have a problem closing. Must really press down hard.. Is that normal or some fault? The left side( from the rear of the bike) dose not seem to sit in when closed lightly.

Ya.. Sometimes no patience.

 

I jus went to tai hin to change mineral oil n fix electric horn. The original horn sound like Mickey mouse.

 

Anyone want original sym grips? Let me know. Giving away mine. Almost brand new. Done 30km with it only. 1st come 1st serve. PM me pls.

Just look back a few pages. Someone here just went to duplicate the key at the shop beside regina.
