Hi Maxsym owners,

I'm a new owner from KL, Msia. Just got my Maxsym few weeks back and mileage about 800km and just done my first service (just EO change) at abt 700km.

But now my bike is having some problem, when riding at above 5,500rpm the engine will some times feels like it going to die out/jerking? Any maxsym owner have heard of such problem? The workshop plans to send the bike to SYM factory in KL since we suspect maybe the throttle mapping/ecu?

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks in advance

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Folks, finally my windscreen arrived...got it installed today...limited time trying it just now but so far it's been ALOT better than our stock.

My height's about 1.75m, and my line of sight is fully within and behind the screen. Should be able to test further tmro to/fro work.

he has motul and maxima.

i was using agip happily but went there to change to maxima after hearing good reviews about it, end up use for only 500km bth, drain away and change back to agip..too much vibration at above 110km. dont know why like that, maybe our maxsym single cylinder more sensitive to engine oils.

recently tried out motul, same feeling with agip, good :thumb:

looks really nice! do give us a review. but personally not a fan of a windscreen being in the line of sight though. rain could affect ur visibility.

Quite true bro, but with mileage of average of 90km per day, I would prefer to be behind the screen!

Nice!

Btw I just lowered my windscreen back, surprisingly wind protection is much better than the taller setting. I guess at the lower position, the screen stands more vertical as compared to the taller setting. The taller setting tilts or leans more towards the rider. So there is more aerodynamic deflection at the lower setting.

Less buffeting felt on helmet and less noise too.
