Where is the reserve tank light? Can't seem to find it.

Also how to change the rear shock settings? Need tools? Or just bare hands can turn?

no reserve light. depends on ur FC. u need to calculate a few tanks then u shud be able to know, then u can calculate the mileage lor. IIRC once hit red mark, got about 2 litres left (i can fill in 12+ litres). so ard 50km thereabouts.

 

from earlier posts i tink can turn by hand. nv tried though.

Hi Maxsym owners,

 

I'm a new owner from KL, Msia. Just got my Maxsym few weeks back and mileage about 800km and just done my first service (just EO change) at abt 700km.

 

But now my bike is having some problem, when riding at above 5,500rpm the engine will some times feels like it going to die out/jerking? Any maxsym owner have heard of such problem? The workshop plans to send the bike to SYM factory in KL since we suspect maybe the throttle mapping/ecu?

 

Would appreciate any feedback.

Just an update, my maxsym is fixed. Prob was due to electrical wiring was not properly tighten by the factory. Some of the wiring connection was not tighten.

 

Phew, now scoot is back to normal.

Wow! Looks like there are lots of Maxsym riders! I'm currently deciding between the Maxsym and Tmax. Anyone considered the Tmax too before choosing Maxsym?

seems nobody has reported of this problem before. only ur speedo or the entire dash? maybe the speedo sensor got bumped or something. maybe can check ur front wheel there got the speedo sensor. see if its loose or wat.

Buy today AGIP City Tech 5w-40 and Malossi Filter.(PartNr:0313380)

 

Price for Filter Malossi: 350 THB (about 14 SGD)

 

Price for Oel AGIP City Tech 5w-40: 350 per L (about 14 SGD)

 

Don´t know why Singapore is so expensive.?

Wow! The difference in mindset between Maxsym and Tmax riders is very apparent! Here, $28 is expensive. But a similar maintenance for Tmax would cost $160, and they'll find it acceptable...

 

Think I'm also more of the Maxsym mindset kinda rider!

the motorshop besides tachyon motor still got few bottles on display. So far I have heard that there are no more Agip dealership in Sg. you gonna try other brand of EO for your scooter already. Maybe you can give amsoil a try
