If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

hi peps, i was caught in the jam on causeway yesterday afternoon.

Unlike my normal riding days i cruise and the only stoppages occue at the traffic lights... thus i suddenly realise that the temperature gauge needle rise like nobody's business up to the red mark.

Panicked i off my engine and start pushing the bike and cruse again after the checkpoint jam.

As fast as the needle rises it also lowerded itself quite quickly as i rode off (ventilation by on the move).

My question is why the radiator fan kicks in very late, chk all system is fine coolant is at ok level.

BTW millage is 980km only hehehehhe

your opinion peps...

and i still have OEM maxxis tyres thar run 100km only should any of you need>>>>

I suggest you get the bike for a check.

My fan kicks in even b4 the halfway mark on the temp gauge.

It will come on even if i was waiting at the traffic lights on a warm day.

I was stuck at causeway jam last week for about 30mins. no problem with temp.

Yup, have a peep at the coolant level. Have heard stories of bikes having low engine oil/ radiator coolant. My paper diagnosis seems to be the low coolant level, for the rate the temp shot up so fast that the auto fan can't come in soon enough.

Better do so. Mah need to push one. haix.

Just push in there and say "IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!"

Don't wait till the next experience.

Since your bike is still under warranty, don't let them drag and get away with proper rectification. Once you cross the 10K or 1 year mark they will proactively strip your bike down to the core and check cos they will bill you afterwards.

That's how lousy our nation's aftersales is, customers have to uphold own rights.
