Is it possible to check the gear oil level?

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/brendanchin/balls_1.jpg

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

dont tink so... cux wen filled wif 330ml, it doesnt overflow. from wat i see, most scooters or bikes wif shaft drive they will fill till it starts to overflow. much better that way. at least wanna check, u can just pour some in or maybe poke a finger in to feel the oil level.

i dont tink gear oil will evaporate like engine oil la. so as long as no leaks, u shouldnt worry about it for 10000km. :)

Just push in there and say "IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!"

Don't wait till the next experience.

Since your bike is still under warranty, don't let them drag and get away with proper rectification. Once you cross the 10K or 1 year mark they will proactively strip your bike down to the core and check cos they will bill you afterwards.

Best lah brothers i love your awsome spirit long live tis thread... Might wanna meet u ppl up one of these days.....

Talking abt keyhole, make sure u guys lubricate them frequently, esp this rainy season. Got one day i forgot to lock my handlebar in the open, so it rained super heavily wif d keyhole exposed.

Wen i tried to put the key in, it was super rough. Immediately spray super alot of GT85 wen i got hm. Best to use these type of dry lubricants. Nt washed away as easily as WD40.

I never let my bike stand without bike cover. Rain or shine or shelter. Avoids cats to a certain degree and young punks trying on the bike posing for pics.

My Tupperware and plastics are as good as new and I don't apply any plastic care products.

wow i wish i got ur discipline! btw for my case, i was caught in the rain and had to park in an open carpark. ran for shelter until forget to lock handlebar. i dont tink putting a cover over a wet bike is a good idea oso. i sayang my bike lar, but not to the extent of covering 24/7. plus i lazy to remove and put every single day. LOL.

After getting my seats damaged by bloody cats and punks posing on my bikes (they stand on my seats) I reckon covering up is only way to go. I use fairly good quality rain cover, and they are supported by the side mirrors and top box so there's enough circulation to let the bike dry out completely.

Need to keep to manufacturer spec, 330ml will allow some gaps for expansion. Try not to brim during top up as if there's no room for fluid expansion then next is the gasket or oil housing to give way.
