There seems to be a SYM agent ard Bukit Indah area Malaysia. I'm planning a recce soon. Will keep u guys posted of the outcome.

 

With a sucky agent like Mah, good to have alternatives.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Need to keep to manufacturer spec, 330ml will allow some gaps for expansion. Try not to brim during top up as if there's no room for fluid expansion then next is the gasket or oil housing to give way.

 

True. Maybe thats y they designed it that way.

Christmas Eve was a Maxsym sighting day. Saw no less than 7 Maxsym within 4 hour period. TPE/KPE/Eunos Link/Hougang/Ubi

 

If we get all the Paciks and Ah Peks to come in here we can easily clock 60-70 members.

yah quite alot OTR one. but in here, look like got only 10 ppl. haha! ahpek and pakcik no time for SBF lar. see how they rush on their maxsyms. all chiong faster than me sia.

Can organise la but dont expect so much. I estimate only 4-5 ppl only active enuf to come for meetups. It will be damn cool to have a big convoy of maxsyms! ;)

Be safe, festive period, lots of drink drivers and riders, everyone will be too euphoric to care about anything. Have lost a few friends from road accidents and some are real careful motorist being hit by reckless drunks that fateful day. And speed demons can stay in bed.

 

Saw the recent bike running red light smashing into a woman video, totally disappointed with the rider.

If you are there pls help me get a piece of the exhaust clamp. I saw in the parts catalogue about $12 RM. Am contemplating to use plumbing water pipe clamps from hardware stores, hi grade stainless steel type if cannot get one soon enough.

Just came back from SYM JB office in taman university. Nice big showroom with various models of sym bikes.

 

Went there to get some extra screws, air filter. Gave them a list of parts and they only got 1 item in stock zzzz. .. say need to order from hq. Will take 1 week to arrive. Left my contact.

 

Also enquired the exhaust clamp. No stock.

 

If any of you want to go buy parts I suggest call or email them 1st.

LOL. I tink expected la. maxsym will only make up a small % of bikes they sell over thr. They wont stock up on a lot of parts one ah. But if at least can order and can get in a week, still reasonable ah.

Went there to get some extra screws, air filter. Gave them a list of parts and they only got 1 item in stock zzzz. .. say need to order from hq. Will take 1 week to arrive. Left my contact.

1 week is very reasonable compared to the 1-3 months Mah is quoting. Good to have alternatives.
