ok. Thanks man.

I have been getting parts for my Kawasaki in Malaysia for past few years. So far they have not disapppointed me. Labour is cheap and workmanship is great.

Hope same goes to SYM in JB. Have to try and see.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Just came back from SYM JB office in taman university. Nice big showroom with various models of sym bikes.

Went there to get some extra screws, air filter. Gave them a list of parts and they only got 1 item in stock zzzz. .. say need to order from hq. Will take 1 week to arrive. Left my contact.

Also enquired the exhaust clamp. No stock.

If any of you want to go buy parts I suggest call or email them 1st.

Ok, I think I will just go buy a good grade pipe clamp from Homely. CAnnot stand the rustiness of the current one now.....

I wanna check if all top box rack plate your agents gave are similar?

I will post a pic of mine tonight. Got myself a used Hepco and Becker Top box but the plate needs abit of mod (drilling) to mount the HB base plate. Plus the rack Mah gave will make the HB box sit a little far from rear. ie sticking far back, not good for C of G).

Does Sim Kuang does customisation for top box rack? Anyone any experience?

Any bros with topbox can take a pic of your base plate and rack mount ( the one that sits over the three holes of the passenger backrest) for reference? Needed to plan a project base rack to mount my Hepco.

No need to remove base plate. Just want to check out the rack plate design. Can view from below.

I have mine from Mah, but it will cause the box to sit very far rear wards. Not nice and pillion cannot rest her back comfortably.

Will head down to tech point 2 to talk to the people.

Cheers.

Hi guys,

After being away from the bike scene, decided to get a bike for purely simple transportation. Point A to Point B.

Just like to ask a few questions.

1.)any major problems with the bike? This is base on me getting a brand new bike.

2.)I use to ride a super 4 donkey years ago. And was able to put two feet on the ground, should there be any issues with this bike in terms of stopping and resting both ur feets flat on the ground? Or at least one foot flat on the ground.

3.) Anyone every installed those in car camera on these kind of bikes?

4.) Pillioning of OC? Any of ur oc that tends to wear dress and skirt to work, is it a hassle for them?

Asking this as I normally drivey oc to work and she tends to wear mostly dress or skirts. And before I buy this maxi scootor would like to get se feedbacks from riders and their oc.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.

1) so far don't seem to have major fault reported by the people here.

2) 2 feet flat on the ground no problem. I'm about 1.68 the seat is quite low.

3) not yet for me

4) my OC loves it. Big wide seat very comfy. One thing to note pillion need to open leg wide cause of the rider backrest. If wearing short skirt need something to cover.

Hi Sonic,

Thanks for the feedback.

Guess my main concern is pillioning my OC to work, due to her work wear. its like those one piece dress and from what you are saying that due to the rider's back rest, pillion needs to open wide, LOL its gonna be a slight issue. need to go back to the bike shop and ask her to sit with her normal working wear. if i want to make sure that there wont be any further NAGGING about the bike.. thou its her choice of the bike.

Btw, the compartment below, are you guys able to fit in 2 full face helmet, say those lift up helmet?

many thanks for the advices.
