Chong Aik is the official distributor I think. Most other shop no stock for accessories.

Ban hon should include installation. Been patronising them for a decade already. It's at ang mo kio block 5038. Mention Kenny with the white maxsym maybe he'll give u $120 also. I got the accessories from chong Aik though, BH no stock.

hi guys, just installed the mra x-creen windshield extension on friday, thanks to bro @naim for meeting me there

i'm still adjusting it to get the ideal position that suits me the most, but i'll do a small review of the screen here for bros who are considering it

pros:

-good wind deflection, works as expected

-able to cruise along highway at 110-120 with visor up (havent tried above that)

-able to hear my engine running clearly thanks to wind blast deflection away

cons

-bad visibility during rain if the screen is directly in your line of sight (esp if its at night!!!!)

-tend to tunnel vision, again if the screen is in your direct line of sight

verdict, i think it works for people who, like myself, feel that the original windscreen has too much wind blasting from the front. i am 175-178cm tall btw. just have to find the right position and angle which is comfortable for yourself.

bought at motoworld for $150 + $20 installation. you can DIY because in the box, they provide a sticker to paste on your windscreen to assist in marking out the holes for drilling. but you'll have to be careful when drilling the windscreen

hope this helps any bros out there, will update as i try out the positioning of the screen.

I go to YSS Thailand and let them check all spec. from the original Shock to make YSS TOP-LINE (Z) for Maxsym 400i.

Does the Windshield bend with the taller drag during 100-120km/h? I do not know the strength of our windshield, plus the holes are drilled so high up there, stress points may develop. May I suggest not riding hi speed with your visor up, I have heard of such add on deflectors breaking at hi speeds smashing into rider's face.

Ah Boy $6 per bulb. Hella brand. Similar to stock.

or

HID kit from ebay. About $40 for a set 2 bulbs. Naim is using HID.

Don't get from a certain seller in this forum. A few bros (me also) bought and it lasted for a few weeks only.

DIY install very troublesome. need 20-30mins just to get to the bulb. or do it blind from underneath.

hi bro, thanks for the concern. i do understand, i was just testing the wind blast. as for the bending, definitely i noticed the movement of the windshield more now that i can see it, by feeling, yeah it's moving slightly more, but to say it's bending, i really can't tell.
