In which position do you have your windshild? High or Low?

According to my experience, low is probably best. Less bending and vibrations for sure.

Currently in high position bro. That's probably true, cuz it's lower. But I prefer to have the protection from wind, rain and any flying sand/dust/road pebbles.

Got bike must ride!

i did some research on this beforehand. i thought it would go great wif an open-pod filter (more air so need to add more fuel) and increase overall performance. wif the open-pod, i felt there is a drop in performance, feels like its running lean.

however, this device only adjusts o2 sensor and IAT sensor signals, typical of these universal "add fuel" type of devices. the problem is the ECU uses more than just those 2 sensors to calculate and adjust the fueling. it could really mess up the fueling in the end. i wouldnt trust something like this, unless its a piggyback ECU like powercommander.

essentially you are just paying over $200 for some resistors. u can read up on resistor mods on o2/IAT sensors. there are mixed reviews and differs among manufacturers, as it depends on hw the ECU does the fueling.

take a look at this :http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/booster-plug/. this one is more developed for BMW bikes and seems to work. the resistors work based on the ambient temp and changes accordingly. at least they clearly explain how their device works. unlike the magnum, which just throws all sorts of claims and not scientific explanations.

What's the price of the givi windscreen for our scoot?

Did users experience too much of vibrations on the givi screen?

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/brendanchin/balls_1.jpg

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Apparently I heard right. Here's some talk in their forum....

allen:

Forget this 3 month interval ...

Service intervals are as documented in the Australian owners handbook. First at 1000, 2nd at 5000km's ...

From a timing perspective SYM Australia would like to think that you are servicing your scooter once a year ...

Thanks Allen. If that is the case, the Maxsym in my view becomes the most cost-effective solution for folk like me who are in the market at the moment. The 4 year warranty offers security and peace of mind. For me those kinds of things are very important.

I appreciate the trouble to which you have gone to seek clarification. Speaking for myself though, if I go the Maxsym route I will be still wanting to get that information confirmed. The information that I am working from was given to me by them. I have assumed, perhaps mistakenly, that they would provide a potential customer the information which was relevant in Australia.

Best wishes, Russell

actually I'd rather get the givi one for $246 if compared with mra x-creen for $150. but then nothing win $15 diy lol

Bro, I'll agree with you on that. If reviews on the givi screen are good.

The mra x-creen improves the wind deflection, but it has to be well-adjusted to your height and riding posture. If the givi windscreen has good reviews, good performance, I'll consider it even if it does look slightly weird to me. Maybe it's just a point of getting used to it.
