Guys, dont get conned. i have the givi screen up for a good few months, and it cost me $246 from Mah incl installation. Look for Paul at the counter. He brought in 3-4 pcs when i ordered it so if i am the only one with the givi on from them so far, then there must be 2-3 left.

Performance wise, it has been fantastic. Dry weather, i dont have to down visor even at 130kmh. I travel bedok-tuas-bedok each day FYI. Protection is extended to your handgrips too, so its a handguard as well. Its looks big when you first ride with it, but then soon after you will feel that its perfectly sized. vibration is almost non-existent other than when idling (at traffic light etc). Wet weather, it can affect your vision alittle, but like i mentioned earlier here (just after fixing), it made no difference to me compared to a wet visor when it rains, so i am not too bothered by it.

i fully recommend for those who wants to get full protection (my pants rarely get wet during rainy rides even though w/o raincoat pants) and to those who wanna go up north. no regrets.

Thanks for the detailed feedback bro.

They Do have stock, but they quoted,$337. I didn't bother lah. Ordered mine already.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Success!

Glow in the dark rims.

Got off work early today and thought might as well do it since free. I tapped from the headlight so it's auto on with the light sensor. The uv led light is slightly visible, not very glaring. Will get some pics in tonight. Overall very satisfied how it turned out. Now to think how to mount the leds for the rear wheel.

Total cost for this mini project is about $50 (enough materials for 2 bikes). Uv led $17, more costly than the regular ones. Glow tape $16+ for 10m.

And here's the commercial version.

yup i DIY install my stebel twin disc horn from mustafa. need a relay. the 2 connectors from the stock horn plug into the relay, wire power source from battery + side, then the other end split to the 2 horns, then ground the horns as well.

mine is the Stebel HF80. 80mm. not so big.

hf80_2_z.jpg

supertone looks good, but like you, i oso feel that its too big. u can get the hella 0902 oso. seems similar to my stebel one.

also, i dont like snail-type horns. they are too loud (sounds dumb, but i find it too startling to have that loud horn. i always worried if i shock the motorist too much, he/she might end up panic and turn into me or something. just my opinion). mine seems enuf. :) oh ya and the snail type more prone to water ingress.

whichever it is, get rid of the stock one. i ever horn at dog lying in the middle of the road, he ignore me sia!

I will 'challenge' the price with him again. Very interested to get it.

Add me in. I interested too. If it's $246 definitely buy from them

Sure will. This is blatant profiteering using same old stock. Unless all the pieces have been exhausted and $337 is price of new shipment which I doubt so. Worst to worst order from KL self pick up and install.

I just foun out they charged me almost 90bucks extra for the new battery. I can get it much cheaper outside. Well live and learn I guess.

They claimed they charged me at cost price some more.

Oh yeah if one can put out an arm to flag down a cab he should have no problem changing the battery himself!! They also mentioned they waived off the labour charges as goodwill gesture. Roll eyes.....

MAH motor is killing SYM brand here from how they handle after sales services.

Good to have alternatives.. Thank god KL able to do parts support.

I wanted to buy a triumph bike.. But looking at how they handle after sales.. I have shelved the idea!

Whatever they carry seem to be overpriced. Wanted to buy Givi Maxia E55, I was quoted more than $700 for a freaking rear box including base plate. Online is costing a lot less..

Settled for a 50 litre Coocase with a cool remote lock unlock function N nice LED brake light for almost half the price.

Those looking for batt, try KS motor along Jalan Besar. It's opp Regina.
