It's in...

16g?

Can you explain please why you chose that weight?

Almost everyone I know with a Maxsym (here in Portugal) chooses 13g.

Can you tell me the differences please?

Thanks.

The choice here we have is 14, 16 or 18. So I chose 16. Stock is 15g. I wanted a heavier roller so that it will not slip ard. I did not want to compromise too much on the top end or the initial pull. So settled for the mid.

Further assurance given by Bro Naim here. He is the technical expert here.

So why u guys choosing 13g?

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

wah dont say technical expert lei. macam got appointment like that. haha.

lighter will give much better acceleration. great if ur bike stays in urban 99% of the time. for my commutes, at least 50% is highway. light rollers will give u higher RPM at cruising speeds = higher fuel consumption. its down to the way u ride. if you like to race away from traffic lights, go ahead with lighter. but if you prefer to cruise without the engine screaming, get a slightly heavier one.

i was charged $95 w/ installation. how about you bro @Kumar_83 ?

Noticed the transmission cleaning at Tai Hin yesterday. They charge $30. Cleaning was being done for a piaggio.

However they use ur petrol n the cleaning is not very thorough. The petrol already so black n the mech just used it to clean with that over n over again. Sucks. End of the day, the transmission area on the bike still looked dirty.

Do the JB guys do a better job?

Just out of curious, has any of your original max tires gone out of shape??

Like when you corner somehow you find it weird? or even just doing a slow and gradual turn.

Its as if your front tires has no grip, and its like steering is very loose... Not sure if this is due to air pressure in the front wheel or what...

Fyi i do not have any box installed.

Sounds like over pressure in the front.

From the photos lawr3enc3 posted should be clean. Because they dismantle and wash it with soap and etc.

Want to go together tomorrow?

Yah dont bother to clean at taihin. Used so much of my petrol and just brush abit here n there.

Btw the one at JB seems thorough. Even dismantle the clutch assembly. I hope they regrease it well. Inside the clutch needs alot of grease.

Hi bro here, yes the SYM Agent do a good job on my CVT. they won't use ur petrol they have a recycle washing bay to wash the CVT, After that they will wash with water and dry it.

They will also grease with hi temp (blue color grease). What I can say is perfect! In Singapore is hard to find workshop that can 100% clean your CVT. I only know botak who clean my runner perfectly. One bad thing is they are a bit slow on Maxsym, maybe they are new with it. Give them some time shd not be a problem. And yes, they only open on first month of the sat. If you guys need spare parts please call them or email them to check on the stock, they don't keep all parts here in JB.

Oh ya, they speak "English" not as good as what you think of. But still can understand.

Hope this info will help!
