If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Thanks bro.. Can't stop thinking about it!! haha..

The first night I collected my bike, I just keep rounding the island, listening to my music, just enjoying the ride, getting used to it, and putting down miles towards the run in!

Hi guys, anyone ever moved off without releasing hand brake? I just did, and now the left brake's feeling weird, and the brake biting point has changed as well. Anyone's encountered the same?

For mine, the handbrake will immobilise the bike ONLY if its fully pulled. If like pull abit only, bike can still move. But after that no issue wif the brakes lei. Shouldnt affect much actly. Hw far did u travel?

I moved for around 5m before coming to a stop again. But now the left brake's feel is completely different. I'm thinking it should be a common forgetful mistake, so wondering if any bros have done the same before...

5m only shouldn't be problem. I did that at least 20 times since I started. Once even about 50m lol. Now seldom, habit to check parking brake b4 move off.

Yup, just rode and rode. Tuas... Changi... Kranji... Because every weekday I do 50km. Like that I would've taken a whole month to reach 1000km.

I only use parking brake when I need to do something and don't want to get off, but the incline keeps the bike moving. Maybe you can wire an extra bright parking brake indicator!

Hi,

Is this the price with installation in Johor SYM?

Anyone knows of any other competitive pricing. I'll be changing these in the coming months?

Local quotation about $18x - original pads with installation.

SYM JB will charge you a cost for install the brake pad, but still cheaper then $18x..

There's a shop beside LAB selling all kinds of belts. Wondering if we can get a compatible one there for cheaper.

I know of a shop selling all types of belts too, but i guess you need to bring down and show them a sample to be safe

actually i feel side stand with handbrake is more stable than mainstand

The parts catalogue got show the dimensions of the belt. But i wont take the risk. Transmission belt is in a v-shape. Those normal belts like fan belts all flat types. Might not be suitable.

Thats why some parts must go for stock. Stock is the best lol

Sucky thing is that's my most common way of riding - commuting to and from work. 160 wherever possible, jam brake to avoid slow cars, accelerate back to 160, try to avoid red light, jam brakes to make the traffic light, repeat five times a week... 16km/l.

My best fuel consumption's on my Malaysia road trips, curvy country roads to be exact. Those you cruise at 110, can avoid brakes for 50km that kind one. 28km/l.

The most interesting's the vertical line with four petrol stops. 700km across different conditions in a day - freeway, city, country, jam. Shows that riding style's the biggest determinant of fuel efficiency.

Damn fierce. And yup, I ride ard 110-120 in SG, and able to achieve 23-24 km/l. So I think you're right. Riding style is important to fuel efficiency. :)
