The damage is too big, patching will not ensure integrity of the tyre, get it change bro.

Some money cannot save, it's a blessing the tyre didn't give way when you took the bolt or made u flip.

Live to ride another day!!

Any expiry date? Or and deadlines necessary to top up?

30 days from expiry from each top up. 50 days grace to top up and regen the card from expiry date.

Extension of expiry

1 year= RM 30

2 years= RM 50

Minimum top up value RM10, can get any where in Malaysia, Watsons, 7/11, supermarkets, petrol station. I think if u register a credit card can top up by dialing in or SMS in a code. I bought a few 10RM n 30RM top up card and kept with me. Can activate top up in Singapore network free.

Daily broadband rate (600mb I think) @RM5

Weekly bb rate @15(I think)

Hmmm your option seems to be cheaper in comparison to Sygic.

Haha I believe 'our' sygic is homebrew.......So should not be any $$.

My intent was actually to make one of my phones a wifi hotspot (leveraging on the 3G network), so I can have internet access for my iPads, Smartphones when I go north for holidays etc. It also acts as my Malaysia Mobile so if I get split up with my family in Malls they can call me, receiving is free. Furthermore some hotels I frequent in MY do not have free room internet, if they do usually the speed is non existent. So the hotpot purpose.

My wife can FB/whatsapp watch movies while kena stuck at causeway jam too.

By the way I have tried Streetdirectory's free Offline maps. It can be used offline, and with mobile signal AGPS it can even point point our location. I check my M1 it didn't register any overseas data roaming usage. So there's another map service to explore. There are free maps for HK, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia etc etc Just select those you need. Good tool for planning road trips up north.

10bucks w/inst. It is not so simple like a water pipe clamp we find at hardware shops. Guess we could use those. But his one looks more beefy and complex, feels heavy and good quality.

Oh if anyone going to buy your exhaust clamps the measurements ought to be at 47mm for perfect fit.

What a long day today for me.. 9am call Mah, ask me to tow and bring the bike over.. Call tow, the driver ask me wait for 2 hrs. Wait, wait and wait then he come take me and my bike to Mah.. Reached Mah almost 12 noon, they say workshop too many bikes under repair.. Ask me to put bike at workshop, I say I don't want, then they ask me to go to the workshop behind their shop. I think its call Pan Euro Bikes. Go there and talk to the manager, nice chap, but he dont have Maxxis.. No choice, so just change. Front tyre Maxxis and rear is Pirelli Diablo. He said can do but takes about 1.5 to 2 hrs, i think because lunch time.. I came back 3pm, take my bike and go home..

Damage = tow + tire = $40 + $175 = $215

I even take picture of the nail.. Blardy looong!! Even the manager and the mechanic say they never see such big and long nail puncture tyre before. I think they going to buy 4D. Hahaha!

That's why I keep a tyre repair kit. If puncture, ride slowly to petrol station, patch and pump. What if you get a puncture in Malaysia? $8 from Mustafa. Get one and keep it in the cavernous seat storage for peace of mind. Even better would be if you kept a portable pump as well.

I recommend to keep the patch kit in the box, less heat to cause premature aging.
