That's 14K? That's long lasting!

yeah. threads are still deep. i guess regular checking of tyre pressure plays a part.

take corners at quite some speed and angle but still no loose feeling. i have yet to feel any slip in the back, even when wet. maybe im just not brave enough? haha! but i now backside itchy wanna try pirelli diablo scoot. but sayang this set la. still good for some more distance. :thumb:

600 has been a concept for years, think if SYM felt that the market was viable, they would've launched it already.

Single cylinder 600? I tink the vibrations might be bad. I tink 600 n above should be at least 2 cylinders la.

Well, BMW believes there is a market for above 500cc scooters. Thus they've started on the C600Sports and C650GT. Piaggio also has the X10 500. Yamaha the T-Max 530. So what's stopping SYM? Haha.

Anyways, congrats on the new riders on MaxSym 400i! It had to take quite a while for this scoot to be popular here. But the patience from the dealers have paid off. It's getting quite a common sight on our roads now!

Kymco has lots to learn even with their newly launched Xciting 400Ri here.

Yup, the more of our bikes, the bigger the market for supporting it, and therefore more supply for support. And more expertise in fixing it as well.

Just to let you know, HLC, the distributor for BMC performance air filters has asked them to make an air filter custom for Maxsym. No replacing of air box, it's designed to fit inside existing air box, but replacing the stock paper filter.

Better performance without any serious modding. I'll be getting mine on my next servicing.

Oh please please . let me get a Sym 600 please please. looks like the 400 . please please. twin cylinder. please please please. but not soooooo heavy like the Myroad 700 or the Burgman 650. hopefully like the BMW 600 please please please. Thank you

Yeap. I love the Aprilia SRV850 after seeing it at Mah Motors. But it's freaking heavy at kerb weight 250-270kg. And thanks to the high seat height, with my 1.68m frame, I need to literally tip on my toes!! I can't imagine with such weight and tippy toes, on a wet day or just tired day after work, stopping at traffic lights or carpark ramps.... A drop is inevitable. Haha.

MyRoad700i seems to be a bit problematic with minor oil leaks in the transmission compartment. BMW has used the so called 'expertise' from Kymco for their engines, but it seems that even BMW don't get the better QC engines / electrical systems. There have been some issues both here and internationally with the scoot failing to start. Haha.

230kg for the MaxSym600i will be perfect!

Hey Rusty,, yes of couse I remember you. ! yap, I just sold off my Mp3 last week and got a new Maxsym yesterday.. so far I feel Maxsym a more comfortable bike to ride than MP3..

( the seat is more comfortable, besides MP3 cannot stretch out legs but Maxsym can :thumb:)

Is it available already? Get from where?

Got bike must ride!

HLC at Autobay. I like because it just replaces the stock, and don't have to remove air box. Last time my bike the performance air filter is exposed, then during rain will stall!
