HLC at Autobay. I like because it just replaces the stock, and don't have to remove air box. Last time my bike the performance air filter is exposed, then during rain will stall!

Naim, my front pad look diff from urs.. Why huh?

Look like the org mounting holes is far apart each other the urs.

DAMN! the front ones can't fit! urgh! like @lawr3nc3 spotted! its smaller. im gonna try get a refund. the rears do fit, BUT i can't confirm 100% yet.

 

here's the thing: i fitted them in. pad material surface area slightly smaller. but i put them in, and seems to bite okay,BUT my handbrake wouldn't work properly, cause now the material is thicker. so i dismantled the caliper again, tried to play around and adjust the handbrake and end up the caliper piston keep coming out! and now even my original pads won't fit!

 

so i panicked! at 12am all alone in the MSCP. end up mess with it for a good hour or so and finally with some luck and ingenuity, realised the piston is like some car types. the piston can't be PUSHED back in. they need to be TURNED in. supposed to use a special tool for this, but i managed to turn them back in with a pair of pliers. installed back the original pads (still thick) and called it a night. i was on the verge of giving up and towing it 2mr to a bikeshop. so a warning for those wanna DIY the rear. can be done, but take note of the piston. phew! now to get some good rest! and go buy the stock original for the fronts 2mr. mine gone alr.

 

SO BASICALLY FOR NOW, JUST STICK WITH STOCKS. because even other brands on ebay or elsewhere online, all show the same type for the fronts. so won't fit 100% chop guarantee CONFIRM DOUBLE CONFIRM.

hmmm..if you would consider the direct open port filter... it will provide an extra boost in pick up as well! maybe you'd want to consider the new malossi e15 filters or marchald sponge. check it out at our site http://www.facebook.com/scooternnarcotics

Hey guys. I recently got ah choong to re route my IU to the ignition instead. Am I right to say that the battery should not discharge itself when the ignition is off since nothing is using the battery? I'm gonna park my bike for about close to 4 weeks in Sept...don't know if come back will have to tow bike..lol

this is what i ordered, but is x-grip with middle length arm and mirror mount. so if you want the aquabox, with longer or shorter arms, and brake reservoir mount of different kinds, just browse through first lo..

 

i think someone got the brake reservoir mount also.

glad i could help. note that our mirror thread is 10mm, i actually mistakenly ordered the 9mm one. but it fits nicely. so far working well. do remember to keep your phone if it rains or put it in a lifeproof or otterbox like me haha!

check out ram mount website. select motorcycle mounts, you can select the brand and model of what you want to mount, and it will give you a few options. then carry on and select the rest of mounting. once done, go over to gpscity.com and order using the model numbers. simpler to choose via ram-mount website, but cheaper at gpscity.

dont think so.

i got a chain lock and an extra padlock.

some bike parking in jb got chain bolted to the ground. thats where the extra padlock comes in.

+use the chainlock. also can add a disc lock if you kiasi. and cover your bike for extra protection?

In JB parking in high traffic flow area does not mean safe. The thieves are quick and resourceful.

 

just do the necessary precautions and hope for the best.

Use a good chain lock, maybe one from Oxford. If can, find those lots with bars in front for chaining. Else chain back wheel safer than chain front wheel. If there's a bank near your location, park right in front where the security cameras are. If going for massage, choose those big ones with security guards jagaing out in front.
