Wow! Terengganu drive you split up into two days, or just drove one entire day?

1 day drive each way. abt 8 hours inclusive rests, so not too bad. drove up all the way by route 3. came back by cutting through Segamat. roads are pretty bad through there though. regretted

Overtaking on those roads are really exciting..

yeah. heng MPV got 2.0L engine. quite okay. not sure hows the pickup of our scooters when overtaking at 110 ard there. must try one day!

A ride a day, keeps the doctor away!

Yes bro. the amp and speaker will be inside the rear box. That's what i did to my previous Yamaha Sparks 135 and Honda wave 125. Extra battery will be put under the seat. I'm thinking if infront the compartment can also put 2 more speakers. haha. ;)

does anyone know whether Mah will hel me fix the horn

when i go for my 3rd servicing?

or i have to get other people to do it

Drivers are deaf in addition to being blind, so a louder horn's a safety device for surviving Singapore's drivers.

I have a Hella 110db twin horn, and it seems able to wake up drivers' ideas.

The space where the horn is is quite tight, so the mechanic might say there's not enough space for a twin horn. But there is, so just insist.

Maxsym's fairings are a pain to remove and replace, so you might have to pay up to $30 for labour.

Inspection no issue wif aftermarket horns, as long as not airhorn.

Hmn... Then what would you do with HIDs? Keep the original bulbs and then switch back for inspection?

Yup most probably will do that. Once a year only. No issue.

Hey bros, I'm thinking of getting a Nolan. Thing is, it's much cheaper at Ah Boy's but I'm not sure if theirs is a Nolan, or a "Nolan". What do you guys think?

I got my n104 frm regina (same same la). It doesnt come wif full kit like manual and stuffs. But pretty sure its the real deal. Save abit more and i also wanted the ratcheting chin strap.

Hi, for your reference I had this system installed on my Maxsym:

http://screaming-banshee.com/indiegogo-plug-and-play

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Screaming-Banshee-Singapore/406473952755534?fref=ts

With this, I can retain the stock horn for friendly use while having the Screaming Banshee to do the job in venting my anger or letting my existent known. =P

More infos on my setup:

-Full Banshee Horn System (Black) with a super loud air horn

-Ordered through the official site online and shipped from the US, paid over 100dollars for the whole system with shipping before someone in Singapore decided to bring them in (refer to the facebook link)

-My model is not LTA approved since it consist of an air compressor, but no problems with the inspection if you don't press and hold on to the horn button.

-The air compressor module is rather bulky

-High quality built with all necessary wirings, connectors and fasteners included.

-DIY self installed with the help of my friend who's also using the same system, had to remove the whole head fairing in order to find a suitable place to install the bulky horn, but there's literally plenty of space available

-Managed to figure out the hi beam wiring through the help of Maxsym pdf service manual found online and connect to the Screaming Banshee control unit, it works! =)

Please refer to the video clip to see how this advanced vehicle warning system works:

Cheers and Ride Safe!

Bought a Nolan n43e from Regina at 220

Tried it and find it very airy

Went back one month later to buy for misus too

One at Regina is not PBS approved due to the strap

Cos Regina does have the double D ring strap

The shop near Regina has the approved version at 280

Nearly bought from them

Until I heard tat the non approved ones they r also selling at 280

So went back to regina

Haha! N104 is the exact helmet I want! Since it's the real deal think I'll be getting it then! :)

Did you use the full or split? So there's a separate horn button?

Airy is good... So ventilation is great... My head sweats a lot, so think this is ideal. The Ah Boy salesman was trying to push the Caberg Duke instead, and criticising the Nolan. I remembered the previous time I got snooked into buying a lousy piece of **** helmet from Ah Boy, so decided to hear what you guys think, because helmet cannot wear cheong one...

If you can remove the fairing yourself u will be able to see more.. ( i dono the details... I only remove silverwing b4 last time heheh)

Pay a bit to get it done with ^_^

If there is more space... try Supertone..... NSHW still roughly can hear...

Btw in reality, strongtone is quite ok already. Cos its still penetrating. If using snail horn... only u hear. Ur "target audience" in front totally cannot hear at all

There's no separate horn button, the system is connected to the stock horn system.

Normally wat we do locally, jus replace the whole horn system.

Dont bother with doing additional switch ..... cos their are perfectly LTA frenly... unless you think u wanan wack AIR HORNS.... like what 4wheelers do....
