hi anyone here did grounding for your scooter/??? any place to recommend??

The scooter is already factory grounded. Think its stated in the service manual.

Anyway theres already a 4 or 5 point ground connected to the frame.

You referring to those aftermarket grounding isit? Dont bother la. i really think its a waste of money. Improve FC? How many KMs must travel before breaking even on the cost?

hahah..okay..thanks=)) btw anyone here install the hit clutch?? it's damn ex..the shop telling me is damn good!!

There were a few who installed.

Yeah which shop selling their stuffs wouldnt say that? Part of a marketing strategy.

They are defects, whereby one of the springs broke. I suspect QC manufacturing problem.

I dont think Dr Pulley sells replacements only for one spring for the clutch unit.

Guys... At this point, what is the available tyre options for our scoot. Besides the stock ones of course.

Our tyre size seems a bit odd. Does Michelin carry our size?

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Metzeler Sportec

Pirelli Diablo

Michelin Pilot Sport

Dunlop GPR

Starting from most expensive. Reviews wise, Pirelli Diablo has the best reviews. It is also the only one that's (relatively) easy to find in our sizes (same as Suzuki Burgman). The rest are got front no back, or vice versa.

Just to add, for tyres - Bridgestone ( not recommended bad reviews-

- Michelin Pilot power PURE

- Michelin city grip

I saw many types of brands and designs for scooters, in Tai Hin available in stock. Currently, using Pirelli Diablo for longevity and durability.

Confirm Michelin city grip has our size?

Many of you guys may be using the popular brands like Pirelli and Michelin, based on my personal experience with both scooters I am currently on both pairs of Heidenau tires... they provide very excellent grip and as usual, German companies seldom fail their consumers and i feel that you guys ought to give it a try!

I called up John from Heidenau tyres. Friendly Chap.

He mentioned he don't have stock now. Stock expected to arrive end of July. However, he dont have our rear tyre size and recommended using 150 at the rear. He mentioned that some in Taiwan are using 150 at the rear instead.

Is it advisable for us to downsize the rear to 150? Anyone here have downsized to 150 at the rear. It shld be lighter of course. Especially for pick ups. What about Long distance?

Anyway he quoted price of $300 for a pair. Model is K66. Its a all weather tyre.

Downsize meaning you will have to sacrifice the stability for high speed.http://www.heidenautires.com/scooter-street-tires/k66

150 i think still safe la. for me, i corner until my balls wanna drop still have about almost 1 inch to the edge nvr touch. Plus the 150 rear could make the bike a little more agile in direction changes.

I got quote from ACM including installation. Pirelli Diablo 1 set $340. Metzeler feelfree $380.

Heidenau cheaper at $300, however the rear size is smaller at 150.
